But pretty much nobody wears Rick unless they're going with their fellow goofninja friends to a fashion event or something like that?? This thread is mostly for casual, everyday fashion, and that stuff doesn't fit in here neither does most of the stuff on sites like Lookbook (which is why it is looked down upon here), a lot of the clothes people 'wear' there are used exclusively for photos
goth ninja is avant garde and admittedly hard to pull off. menswear and streetwear both have casual, daily variants, though. obviously i'm not advocating casual suit wearing, as much as this thread would like to insist i am.
It's not exactly avant garde if it's been around for ages and peaked a few years ago is it
I find it pretty amazing how many people come in this thread to ask for a dressing advice and then they immediately become mad when somebody actually gives it to them.
I find it pretty amazing how many people come in this thread to ask for a dressing advice and then they immediately become mad when somebody actually gives it to them.
i wasn't asking for advice, i was just posting an outfit and a bunch of people said it looked like shit there is a big difference believe it or not. can you please leave me alone, i've already acknowledged that it's bad. [editline]3rd November 2013[/editline] let me reiterate for you: i wasn't asking for advice i wasn't asking for advice i wasn't asking for advice i wasn't asking for advice i wasn't asking for advice i wasn't asking for advice i wasn't asking for advice
well if you weren't asking for advice you were showing off, in which case we didnt find anything showoff worthy
It's not exactly avant garde if it's been around for ages and peaked a few years ago is it
it's not something you'd usually see just walking around town. As far as I got it this thread is for advice on how to dress properly to work, school, college etc High fashion is, I would say, more of an acquired taste. But you are going to wear clothes in public and fact is that the average guy has no interest in high fashion. You in your $5000 Rick outfit will look ridiculous to him. if it helps, yesterday i wore beige khakis, green shirt and red shoes.
As far as I got it this thread is for advice on how to dress properly to work, school, college etc
exactly, this is more a "how to not look like a tool" thread than a fashion thread as such
Air Jordans is fucking marketed to people who like basketball. That shit isn't fucking marketed to Black People Thats exactly why the shit you said is racist. Not every black person plays basketball And how is "Don't wear Supreme because only the Black Kid wear it and you'll look like a total tool if you put it on" not racist. You make it sound like Supreme is some part of Black Culture or something The hell is your problem
Goddamn it fucking stop.

You make it sound like Supreme is some part of Black Culture or something The hell is your problem
there IS a "black culture" though, like it or not you can bring all sorts of arguments as to it existing because of racism itself, but this isnt mass debate or SH and i dont wanna start a huge debate, just saying that denying that it exists is flat out wrong [editline]3rd November 2013[/editline] just to bring in some more examples, here in brazil, that culture is a lot different than in the US (and i'm assuming australia too from what rusty says), except most people's prejudice is against poor people (from all races), not black people it's still bad, but there's no such thing as "black people clothes" or "black people music", there's "poor people clothes" and "poor people music" (so if you're a rich blonde dude and you're dressed up all gangsta and stuff, people will say you look like a tool, but due to prejudice against poor people) of course, there's a culture that developed around that, and you cant blame companies for marketing towards those people, just like the north face has plenty of dadwear stuff and supreme has plenty of "black people" stuff
oh my god you are utterly hopeless, I don't think you understand: you don't look "edgy" or "different" by wearing knock-off hideous t-shirts and nobody but you is finding them humorous you just look like you're trying really hard to be a hipster and what's best is that you won't even consider any of the advice that several people in here have given to you, you continue to go to charity shops and buy the most godawful shit in there (shit that's in there for a reason)
you are hopeless if you think that you are the pinnacle fashion's gold standard and there is absolutely no "advice" here. I post those shirts and the first response is "catshit". really good! and if you think the pretentious vomit that rusty has been spewing is "advise" then you need to look up advice's definition by the way, this is the first supreme anything that I've ever bought, I shopped around around a dozen stores and these were the shirts i like the most
i dont like supreme because they can make their more feeble-minded basic bitch customers think they're top shit its in the fucking name nice patterns occasionally, though. just cant afford it.

Anyone know of any hair products that hold hair? I've been using Axe Hair Paste, and it gets me the style I like, but it doesn't hold my hair there. It also likes to pull my hair out.
Goddamn it fucking STOP.
yeah I'm just gonna stick to giving advice to people that actually want it from now on instead of people that throw it back at your face
is the weekly FULS shitstorm over yet
is the weekly FULS shitstorm over yet
yes I'll calm down now, however this thread is a shit storm 90% of the time regardless

For holding a style I like their matte effect cream.

Woo, catfight! Anyway, this is where I get off. It's been a pleasure, and now it's gone insane. And yes, I will shave. For you.
If it isn't everyone shitting on each other's personal style, it's usually everyone arguing about "price vs quality" and then maybe sometimes someone posts a picture of a horrible outfit, people try to give advice, but then start arguing again about each other's personal style and advice. FULS! in a nutshell... [editline]3rd November 2013[/editline] this place sucks, fuck facepunch.
I miss Lemonator we haven't had a "you aren't any better than the rest of us because you bought a $300 shirt" argument for a while
