I'll admit it looks better in that picture, but still, the contrast between the huge blazer and the tight jeans is pretty bad
You're right. I just wanted to prove that I wasn't as ugly or fashionless as I was being made out to be. I'm going to buy a pair of beige chinos that aren't as skinny pretty soon.
Okay, you do look better in that picture, but the outfit's still all wrong. It's like you're half 2009 Hipster fashion, and half midlife crisis.
omfg dude seriously no stop. Those jeans look completely ridiculous with the blazer jacket And why are you rolling up the bottoms wtf
What's so bad about my jeans? I understand that wearing a blazer and jeans is controversial, and I would rather have some slacks, but it's not that bad, is it?
What's so bad about my jeans? I understand that wearing a blazer and jeans is controversial, and I would rather have some slacks, but it's not that bad, is it?
Skinny jeans don't fit your physique, and rolling them up doesn't help. It's like you skipped leg day.
I'm a t-shirt and jeans kinda guy. I think dressing in blazer jackets when you're under 30 generally just looks silly unless you're gifted with perfect facial genetics or are going to a formal event. Dress for your body and face.

Other than that, what screams "mid-life crisis"?
What's so bad about my jeans? IMO if you really want to go with an outfit like that, get the chinos you said, a better fitting blazer and another shirt, because that one is pretty boring
those mega casual jeans just don't roll with that blazer -- especially with them rolled up get rid of the blazer and go for a zip up of some kind, something much less formal. the shirt too
Because you have a chunky upperbody and the worst case of chickenlegs I've ever seen on someone with your bodytype.
I think you're over-exaggerating, but alright. I'll get some jeans and pants that aren't as tight.
I think you're over-exaggerating, but alright. I'll get some jeans and pants that aren't as tight.
I'm actually not, your legs look like my fiance's. I'm not trying to be offensive or hurtful but you really might want to consider doing some leg workouts, lol.

I don't really care if I have skinny legs, but the inconsistency between my legs and torso does bother me.
work on your legs, they really are pretty darn skinny. in the meantime though, work on picking out some less slim fitting pants
why the hell do people roll up their jeans like that? to show off your ankles? you're just gonna give yourself cold feet and blisters from not wearing socks. also yeah skinny jeans + blazer = bizarre bobblehead physique, it would look weird even if you did beef up your legs imo
no shows

I think it adds flair to an otherwise boring article of clothing.
The most of I've ever cuffed my jeans is literally just the hem. I like the bronze stitching on the back, plus the inside of my jeans don't bleed onto my shoes.
Jean cuffing is just a trend. I think it adds flair to an otherwise boring article of clothing.
if you want your jeans to look interesting, you could just get them in nicer, more interesting colors - i mean nothing extreme ofc, but just stuff that looks nifty and subdued, like brick-red or something. i don't know, jean cuffing just always looks super awkward to me
pdp, stuff you gotta do: Go with a less slim pants cut to balance out your physique Not wear a blazer with Vans and skinny jeans - if you're gonna try smart casual then go full smart casual rather than mixing conflicting styles Think more about uniformity in fit across all of your clothes, and make sure you're actually buying the right size for jackets Wear a less structured sportcoat with casual wear, and not a black one
Better/worse?
t-shirt looks too short in the sleeves (generally small all around) and is anything but flattering. use it as an undershirt
t-shirt looks too short in the sleeves (generally small all around) and is anything but flattering. use it as an undershirt
The only thing that can fix that is exercise. The sleeves are rolled up. Just pretend I'm not fat.
looks better than your previous fit, but you should size up one size on the shirt and get some fuller jeans. also if your going to roll your jeans and show your ankles, a pin roll looks much better than a cuff.
Not so, my friend! Compression shirts can also fix that.
Not so, my friend! Compression shirts can also fix that.
Ehh, I'll just exercise.
Honestly I'm not a huge fan of the hairstyle. It might just be my preference but I don't think the "swept over" look really fits anybody
Honestly I'm not a huge fan of the hairstyle. It might just be my preference but I don't think the "swept over" look really fits anybody
could be worse tbh
Ehh, I'll just exercise.
there is no downside to doing this so do it
Better/worse?
You could improve your appearance 100% with some dieting and exercise. Even if you just wanna lose the fat and not get buff or w.e Also fix your posture, your shoulders are hunched forward, makes you look depressed. You probably have a mild form of lordosis, http://phraktured.net/starting-stretching.html Start on this, your posture WILL improve. The fit on the shirt, judging by shoulder seams is fine. It's just unflattering because of the tumtum sticking out, which is partly due to your posture because you're not really very fat. And also: If you are wanting to lose weight, exercise is like 5% of it. You need to clean up your diet before anything is going to change about your body.
pdp is in such denial lol [editline]5th November 2013[/editline] 50 posts of arguing i aint even gotta be here [editline]5th November 2013[/editline]
You could improve your appearance 100% with some dieting and exercise.
