usually not a fan of shoes like that but those actually look alright. brand labeling, sure, but they still look alright
Going to an orchestral concert tonight at the Bijou. I'm thinking black peacoat, white shirt, black tie, dark blue-grey jeans, and my shiny black dress shoes. Is that okay? Does that offend your sensibilities, or make me look like a tramp? Better you tell me now than I go out looking like a fool.
It's true And how many billions of pairs of expensive shoes do you have now Rusty It's like every other page with you
expensive shoes? like, 6 pairs now [editline]10th November 2013[/editline]
Not sure, found the picture on tumblr, thought the shoes and socks were pretty
they look like wolverine 1000 miles
looks like it fits, idk about jeans with that though
It's what I see everyone on campus wearing with peacoats, so that's why I asked. I may have a pair of dress slacks, but I'm not sure they fit quite as well.

Are those toilet instructions in the bg
Are those toilet instructions in the bg
Always put the lid down when finished
How embarrassing
Yeah, we have a dog, and my brother still hasn't got the hang of putting the seat down. Those are for him. I put them up there, because I was tired of the dog drinking from the toilet. [editline]10th November 2013[/editline]
Are those toilet instructions in the bg
Yep. Everyone else that uses that bathroom forgets to put the lid down, and I'd prefer my dog not drink whatever chemicals are in those toilet cleaner tablets.
Ok, finally got some laces for my boots, now I just need some pants for my new outfit and since I'm not brave enough and barely stupid enough to wear pajamas in public, I'm gonna need some pants recommendations: Here's the full outfit (again, pajama pants are placeholders, I'm looking for pant recommendations) Here's just the jacket/sweater (if I look tired it's because I am). I was thinking either dark red chinos or some type of skinny jeans.
definitely not a fan of the scarf.
Yeah, the scarf comes across as a bit metro. If you're insistent on it, go with a solid color, preferably neutral. I'm going to say you need more collars, and someone's going to come along and say I'm wrong, but I really think you should ditch the Tshirt in exchange for something with a stiffer collar.
metro? it's just not a very nice scarf.
I like my solid black scarf.

Or is it the scarf that gives that illusion In any case I don't think you should wear a cardi under a jacket like that, it's a bit weird imo
Is that like a shawl neck cardigan? Or is it the scarf that gives that illusion In any case I don't think you should wear a cardi under a jacket like that, it's a bit weird imo
There's nothing inherently wrong with shawl cardigans, but they don't layer well. Cardigans under jackets are a fairly common thing, especially if they're flat collared. However, you HAVE to offset it with a collared shirt. Otherwise it looks flat, and that's not what you want with that sort of thing. [editline]11th November 2013[/editline]
metro? it's just not a very nice scarf.
Metrosexual. It's that sort of high-consumer style that came to a head in the mid-2000s. It's characterized by scarves, cardigans, slim-fitting coats, skinny jeans, shiny shoes, and things of the like. Essentially, we all fall into it in some way or another.
metrosexual is a dumb word please wear things that you think look nice and not define it by a dumb label like metrosexual
thats a bit hypocritical coming from you
metrosexual is a dumb word please wear things that you think look nice and not definite it by a dumb label like metrosexual
I'm not disagreeing with you, but people I know use it all the time. Usually with negative connotations. Unless East Tennessee just happens to exist five years in the past, which it very well might, others use it as well. Also, what's with the sudden change of position?

I'm not going to disagree with you... Actually, hold on, they were "in-style" about two or three years ago, weren't they? Someone get me out of this time-warped hell!
cardigans are horrible and always will be horrible I don't understand what would possess anybody to wear one, even when they were more widely worn like 5 years ago
Expectations
best frame i found for a good price. yes no?
Reality [t]http://i.imgur.com/pBYu6Z2.jpg[/t] Good, no good? I find them a bit too wide, and maybe the shape could be a bit less curvy. But I want your opinions
they look good man
I've seen some people pull off a cardigan fairly well. Then, I thought maybe I could pull it off. Nope. It looks terrible on me. Well, that was a wasted $30. I was actually complimented by all my friends, though, which really surprised me seeing as it looks so bad.
I was actually complimented by all my friends, though, which really surprised me seeing as it looks so bad.
Friends do that. I've got mates that told someone that they looked good wearing these simply because they didn't have the heart to tell the guy that they're horrible [t]http://www.ransacker.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/New-Balance-1226-running-shoes.jpg[/t]
