this thread's really not all too good with clothes, but yeah, we're pretty spot-on with hairstyles most of the time

Red/Green or Blue/Grey or neither? Pairing with mostly navy, dark grey, and black coats.

I've wondered how to clean this if I were to get it. Since its waxed it seems to say only wipe/brush clean which would be a pain in the ass. Is it at all possible to either machine wash it or somehow remove the waxing?

They age beautifully, just like the tin cloth. They get more character as they get dirty and as long as you've got a bit of a rugged style it'd look great.

For $110, neither. I know its' cashmere but that's pretty pricey. I was doing research into woolen mills in the US still running and came across a few good ones. If I were getting a scarf right now it'd be a
a %100 wool scarf from Amana Woolen mill for $25, made in Iowa or a Pendleton Woolen Mill scarf. Much cheaper than that J.Crew one, and they are great quality.
who ever washes their jackets anyway.

The wax is what waterproofs it and you technically could rewax it I believe but that'd be a bad idea. With tincloth or soywax you basically have to resign yourself to having a weathered jacket after a while.

Just got my two peacoats dry-cleaned yesterday actually. Dry-cleaners suck so bad to deal with, they always take 30 minutes to find your stuff.

I've been getting the same damn haircut for some time and I get sick of it, hoping to get some suggestions for next time I go get my hair cut since christmas is coming around soon and I'd like to go for a different look.

That's a somewhat old picture but it's the hairstyle I keep getting anyway.

well, the haircut you have right now really isn't that bad at all, but i can understand getting sick of the same old deal
you could always go with the good ol' HY haircut, if you trim/lose the beard
alternatively, i could see a manbun working well on you, given a bit of grooming (and lose the glasses, grab some contacts)
v-neck jumper or crew neck

Yeah, really want to lose the glasses for some contacts but I'm not currently financially able. I think I personally look kind of weird without a beard or if I'm trim too short but I have a bit of body dysmorphia so I don't know, maybe I look fine, see below.

That was me sometimes ago after I shaved and all.
HY is curtained hair, yes? Not very familiar with the whole lingo as I'm not really that big into fashion.
HY is really just short on the sides + hair on top, dont fade it in tho

shouldnt be too hard to explain to the barber, but bring a picture on your phone if you really feel like you're gonna need it

it may just be this picture but you kinda look like a young skinny seth rogen

Yes you look fine, you're a pretty handsome dude so you can probably get away with any haircut you like on the short side. your hair is pretty boring right now so I would do something
v-neck jumper or crew neck
crew neck w/o a doubt

you have a pretty good face (full homo) for any type of hair-cut really. hitler youth is super basic and easy to pull off so if you want to change things up but don't want to go too experimental I'd definitely recommend that - also agree w/ the manbun thing - can see you pulling it off
personally I'd say get the sides & back shaved but grow out some length on the top so you could try the manbun or other looks
Anyone recommend a specific brand of acne treatment stuff? As in, to help prevent and treat acne? The stuff I use works but I still get a few little outbreaks, mostly after shaving for some reason.
v-neck jumper or crew neck
v if your shirt has a collar, crew if it doesn't

If you have outbreaks after shaving then it's most likely you're shaving poorly. There's a whole manly art to shaving properly. Look into preventing razor burn, and look at some sites like badger and blade for advice. Great place.

All of 5 seconds and I found out it was because I learned to shave against the grain. That solves everything I have ever needed to know about shaving. I have done nothing wrong but that, haha.
I wish I had money to burn for a straight razor and a nice brush and shit
Even non-terrible quality razors like Gillette tend to be really hit and miss in my experience
after wearing those skinnies for a while, they really don't seem so bad anymore.

and new taupe trucker jacket :)
idk i still think the colour is too light
I really like the way you dress rusty. The jacket is great, been looking for something similar-ish, is it this one http://us.levi.com/product/index.jsp?productId=21294546 ?
thats the one

why not get a DE or a shavette both are pretty cheap, i have all 3 but i rarely use my dovo straight edge cause its hard to use and kinda scary. also you can probably get a cheap brush and soap at a supermarket, i got my first from asda
I looked into it before and it was more money than I'm willing to spend on a clean shave right now :(

I love my Murkur DE and my antique J.A. Henckels straight razor. Grooming supplies was something I do not regret investing in.
My dad started using a DE the same time I did and invested a lot less than me, I think he spent $50 on his razor but then only like $8 for his soap, bowl and brush. He got them at Wal-Mart. You could even get a vintage DE razor for just a few dolars. I've got a few myself that I've only paid $2 a pop for. Even got my girlfriend a 18k gold plated Gillette from the 1930's for $5. Then I bought an old cigar box and made a velvet lined case for it.

Hey, I was planning to buy the exact same razor. Cool.
The Murker? It's fantastic, the weight is perfect. Also my favorite blades for my skin have been Murker's own blades. Followed by Feather blades.
Yep, but I might go for a Gillette I'm not sure..
Do I have to dry clean an acrylic scarf or is there a cheaper way to clean just it
