If your shit look likes that you need to go to a gastroenterologist Oh and your opinion is wrong btw
there sure is a strange correlation between opinions and objectivity in this thread (considering under ordinary circumstances there is none)
that's a new one. why would I be thinking about when I'm over 20? does that mean I have to wear formal clothing in preparation for the next three + a quarter years? should I stop skating too? [editline] . [/editline] you sound kinda like my father, "you're not going to be wearing stupid skatewear and skinny jeans when you're an adult so why bother". like how is that even relevant when I'm in sixth form in my mid-teens?
it means youll look back on this and be like 'man i cant believe i gave anyone advice considering how i dressed!' 16 year olds cannot give fashion advice, because they are 16. especially not to adults [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] i mean, yeah, you can wear 16 year old clothes. but you really cant tell other people how to dress
I don't understand what this has to do with FULS Like great if they do their job, but they don't LOOK good, they're big fuckin clunky awkward work boots in poo colour with white soles
If Redwings are not for you and don't fit your style that's fine, but for many people they are very highly regarded and have great qualities and are indisputable classic boots. I'll say I don't like the black laces that I had in them and they look much nicer broken in. Also it's pretty off to say it's not got anything to do with FUL. That's like criticizing someone for posting skate shoes because this isn't a skate thread.
You mean there actually people who wear those outside of a work situation? Like work boots as casual wear? I apologise for the FULS remark if that's the case, that's just so foreign to me. I've never seen it in my life before and I think it's terrible
If your shit look likes that you need to go to a gastroenterologist Oh and your opinion is wrong btw
My opinion is wrong? you are a muppet

those redwings look like weird moccasin/boot hybrids
bitch please i was giving you fashion advice when i was 16
and at the risk of being a prick, i dont much think your advice is great now let alone when you were 16
you single-handedly morphed this thread into the denim dad emporium so congrats
lmao imagine thinking all denim was for dads. imaging thinking that.
i'd like an exact quote where i specifically said "all denim is for dads" thx
aye, maybe y'all can say what your'e going for when posting clothes/question/etc. then we can judge each other on how well its going. rather than thinking that we're all going for the same style. rate someone on how well somebody is cowboy'ing, rate someone on how someone is pulling off streetwear, etc. this thread just turns into everyone turning into bitches trying to diss each other's fashion choices (though i will admit its quite fun to see y'all fight bout skinny jeans for 10 pages)
i mean, yeah, you can wear 16 year old clothes. but you really cant tell other people how to dress
why are you talking down to me like 16 is the new 12? I wear streetwear, so do some young adults, believe it or not. (What? Not everyone wears boots and trucker jackets?) I haven't given fashion advice in the thread except with other people posting streetwear. As fudgeblood said, fashion is subjective. Arguing is a little pointless. I'm too lazy to think of a metaphor for what arguing is like but you get what I'm saying.
i'd like an exact quote where i specifically said "all denim is for dads" thx
when you said denim dad emporium. because the denim i wear is either skinny, or super skinny. the polar opposite of dad wear. [editline]5th December 2013[/editline]
why are you talking down to me like 16 is the new 12? I wear streetwear, so do some young adults, believe it or not. (What?
when you said denim dad emporium. because the denim i wear is either skinny, or super skinny. the polar opposite of dad wear.
yeah dad those are some nice super skinny denim jackets and and denim cowboy shirts you wear :)
except i live with a 17 year old. precociousness doesnt fool me
because one 17 year old is literally every 17 year old right????
ok rusty well I'm 16 now I'll keep wearing my little baby 16 year old stuff
yeah dad those are some nice super skinny denim jackets and and denim cowboy shirts you wear :) because one 17 year old is literally every 17 year old right????
denim jackets and shirts are not age specific things. dad wear is like, baggy kmart jeans and north face fleece jackets and ugly sneakers
my friend got new balance shoes so i call him dad / steve carrell
yeah dad those are some nice super skinny denim jackets and and denim cowboy shirts you wear :) because one 17 year old is literally every 17 year old right????
i know all his friends too. not to mention i was once 17. and everyone i knew then was 17 too! it's not like my perception of teenagers is some fantasy. how can you dispute regretting the way you dress as a teen? find me a single adult that doesn't regret what they wore as a teenager. [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] i'm not trying to start a shit flinging fest. i'm just saying. no mid-teenagers ever should be giving fashion advice. not exactly an earth shattering thought, one that i'm sure most of the world would agree with
denim jackets and shirts are not age specific things.
yes they are dad [editline]5th December 2013[/editline]
i know all his friends too. not to mention i was once 17. and everyone i knew then was 17 too! it's not like my perception of teenagers is some fantasy. how can you dispute regretting the way you dress as a teen? find me a single adult that doesn't regret what they wore as a teenager. when have i tried to tell a super mature adult how to dress i've literally just been discussing streetwear with other people who wear streetwear throughout this entire thread [editline] . [/editline] I look back at 14 year old me who owned a fucking superdry hoodie and shit and think oh god no but i'm pretty sensible now, all my clothes are pretty subtle and not "whoaa wild high school studenty" [editline] . [/editline] the next thread should be in mass debate harr harr
yes they are dad
you have a wacked out view of dad wear [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] literally never seen a dad dressed like that
really? how? most middle aged men around here wear shitty denim jackets whenever the weather dips below 55f [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] not to mention it being the default go-to jacket for most backwoods hillfolk i see
maybe because i don't live in america? and maybe because there are plenty of shitty denim jackets, and levis ones are not among them. and denim jackets and shirts are not ALL i wear, they are just what i enjoy wearing the most. i have plenty of non denim shirts and non denim jackets, just to clear that up! but there is nothing wrong with either of those things, if you wear them with the right things, and not baggy jeans and sneakers or something. because obviously, for any dad, it takes very minimal effort to transform good clothes into dad looking clothes. but adversely, baggy chinos with a crotch that looks like you've pooped in them and flat brims do not look good, in my opinion. im not saying everyone should wear what i wear, far from it. but most 'street wear' looks stupid regardless. [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] and for the record also, like it or not, they are in fashion (and have been since the 90s)
you just defended what you wear like I did but then called a different style stupid. like why not just accept people have different viewpoints. [editline] . [/editline] also you said not to wear a denim jacket with baggy jeans and sneakers and then showed kanye pulling it off like it's his job
you just defended what you wear like I did but then called a different style stupid. like why not just accept people have different viewpoints.
yeh, stupid, in my opinion. like, that's a given. you don't gotta say that after every opinion you give, because it's already implied, because you said it.
but adversely, baggy chinos with a crotch that looks like you've pooped in them and flat brims do not look good, in my opinion. im not saying everyone should wear what i wear, far from it. but most 'street wear' looks stupid regardless.
and i think full denim costumes look pretty damn ridiculous too you have literally no room to talk because at its core, style is entirely subjective and people have wildly varying tastes, and it's like it's impossible for you to understand that instead you choose to fly into conniptions whenever someone strays from the general style you try to enforce
#sweg looks kaynge west wears full denim and he's a dad. just sayin
