think these might be waterproof http://www.size.co.uk/product/nike-air-max-90-mid-%27sneakerboot%27/120188
I'd be surprised, they are mesh
i'd just go with a solid color pair because those seem really difficult to match with anything and are hella busy. if you're definitely going to get one of those, though, the second is better
Already have a pair of black woven Roshe's (cliché I know), but I really enjoy Roshe's and want to get some more interesting sneakers. Pretty hard to find interesting sneakers that aren't ridiculously expensive though but these are only $100 - plus I'd be wearing them with shorts so wouldn't be too hard to match. Probably going to look around for some other shoes, if not I'll grab the second pair (was leaning towards them anyway) [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] also; late to the tie-dye party but picked this tee up today [t]http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0056/6402/products/Navy_Tinge_Tee_large.jpg?v=1385033581[/t] looks p. terrible in that picture but it looks great in real life. definitely enjoying Sly Guild products a lot
ive really never been a fan of doc martens. on dudes, anyway. they just look like nerdy school kid shoes. [editline]6th December 2013[/editline] girls can pull em off
That's really only if you get the one like above where it's like a dress shoe in boot form, I have a pair that's all black and are combat boots and I pull them off/they look nice. I get a lot of compliments from gay guys/girls so well at least I think I pull them off :v:
Some New Balance shoes are incredibly nice
oh I know, my friend's are pretty cool, I'm just messing with him hahah.

I think if you wanted to go with Dr Martins that the taller model could be more versatile and classic. Wearing boots for six months now I can honestly say that the height of taller boots isn't really ever an inconvenience for me. I actually think they are more comfortable and supportive once broken in.
I saw people posting bikes in this thread a while back, and the skateboarding thread is dead and nobody really helps out. So - can somebody recommend a deck? I skate 7.75'' but now I feel like I should move up to an 8.00'' as it's more comfortable for me. I was thinking maybe this one but I can't tell if I like it or not.
It's for like afternoon. They need to be waterproof I guess thats my problem
Get these then, they are waterproof and not ugly. Personally it looks like poorly done photoshop with a default font.
Are you looking for visual input on the deck?
yeah I felt like it was kinda bland, but I'm trying to go for something simple so stickers don't look so out of place I have this deck at the moment and thought it was beautiful but now the graphic is all ruined from age and it's kinda boring to me now [t]http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0050/4532/products/palace-brady-tower-deck775-4_1024x1024.jpg?v=1375005509[/t]
Well seeing as Ripndip is a clothing company and just purchasing generic blanks and printing a design on them, I would buy a deck from a company that focuses on making good decks, not ones that match their 5 panels. I've had pretty boards in my day but they only stay pretty for a few days so it ultimately doesn't matter if you're actually using them. You should get a deck from a company that makes the best decks currently, since they all cost roughly the same.
alright, I'll look around and just post a 1 or 2 thing
I've had pretty boards in my day but they only stay pretty for a few days so it ultimately doesn't matter if you're actually using them.
yeah, it's a shame, I got mine, did a few tricks and the graphic was ruined within the first week, it looks absolutely disgusting now (7 months later) but it still skates nicely I just like the feeling of setting a new deck up that's kinda my only excuse
Still need help finding good shoe for snow. They don't need to be a boot but they kind of have to be water proof. On a side note I really want Nike Project BAs but they are literally sold out in my size everywhere
I'd be surprised, they are mesh
fuck it, they're cool, just accept the wet feet.
fuck it, they're cool, just accept the wet feet.
I know they're nice! But its for snow! I think these would be good in light water, but no hope in snow :( [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] These Trainerendor's have a waterproof upper (Not quite sure what that means) but I like the look of them. Not a huge fan of the Velcro strap but excluding that, definitely a potential buy. What do you guys think?
I like the speckled sole they put on some of their running shoes. I think they look cool except for the velcro.
If it's for snow I would never go with a low sneaker, it doesn't matter if it's waterproof if snow is coming in your shoe through the ankle. All it has to be is 5 inches of snow and you're in an uncomfortable situation.
I think I'm going to end up buying boots regardless because I'm going to be walking off road and stuff in thick snow
sometimes you just gotta sacrifice comfort for style man. or just not run around in the snow. walk on the sidewalks or streets or something. [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] i haven't been comfortable since '08.

[editline]5th December 2013[/editline] i haven't been comfortable since '08.
Mum is buying them and I really don't want boots but she's like "The second snow gets in those trainers you're going to be uncomfortable for the rest of the week!" and it sucks because even though I don't want boots I know when I ask for trainers after the ski trip she'll be like "You can't have those! I just brought you a pair of shoes" and then I'll have to wear disgusting boots in public [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] I guess boots would be useful. I live in the country side so I could wear them when it's dirty so I don't ruin my skate shoes or nice shoes? But still I am not a fan
I usually just bring 2 or 3 pair of sneakers when I go skiing. If one pair gets wet you just wear the other pair.
Ur gonna look like a doofus wearing sneakers when u obvs should have worn boots. [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] theres nothing "stylish" about being underdressed. it's like seeing someone wearing a shirt, cardigan, denim jacket, and a parka- all open. dude should have just zipped up his parka and done without two layers.
you don't need boots if you're running around in some ski town.
Timberland has some waterproof boots that are nice enough. I got a pair of 6" earthkeepers that i wear on chilly days in SF, and wear with thick-ass woolen socks in norway during the winter. you wear one pair of sneakers all the time? [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] i always bring multiple pairs of shoes, even when on summer holidays etc.

okay I need help I'm a 30 waist and a 34-36 leg, it fucking sucks being tall and skinny I need a pair of black well-fitted skinny jeans for a reasonable price (£30 - 40), I've looked on ASOS and topman and now I'm not sure what to do
River Island usually have decent skinnies, my black ones are from there and they're great [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] I know your tall and skinny pain though. I'm like 5'11 and 55kg loooool
is 30L a 32 leg or 34? if it isn't 34 there aren't any on river island :( [editline] . [/editline] oh wait I think it is 34, thank you bear!
