honestly tho, if Rick Owens x Addidas were cheaper, I'd fuck around with it. SHOES OF THE FUTURE.
i'd definitely get them if they weren't so absurdly expensive.
same with the y3 qasa

honestly if i were doing costume design for some really weird scifi films a lot of these wacky collab designs would be pretty neat for that

lunarcore will be 2014's goth ninja

Styleforum headlines: "Uniqlo and Jil Sander unveil spacesuit collaboration"
I like some lunarcore, the more entry-level stuff is great, just like entry-level goth ninja
[editline]27th December 2013[/editline]
I can't remember the guy's tag, but he used to post on /fa/ quite a bit and his lunarcore fits were fucking great
what would you even consider entry level goth ninja
[editline]27th December 2013[/editline]
and good god lunarcore? what the hell is THAT
what would you even consider entry level goth ninja
well it's more clothing that uses the elements of goth ninja, but in a more mainstream way. Like the whole geobaskets/skinnies/long tee outfit that a couple goofs have, that doesn't have much in the way of complex layering or subtle colour differences, but it still has the proportion play and minimalist look.

if the pants were different this would be pretty damn good, I like the colours used in Lunarcore and the military influence.
my current wardrobe i'm building is going towards that minimalistic, black/grey/navy look. also sweatpants. here you guys go, I haven't posted myself in awhile

yeah it's basically clothes based around space, sci-fi and astronaut apparel

i wonder what a fashion movement from a lunar colony would look like
it's some superobscure fashion style that an (exiled) guy named Poet from /fa/ came up with
at least from what I picked up

the shoes I can agree with. I didn't have any not brown shoes at the time that I felt went with it super well. But the sweatpants are never coming off tho.
then I got some black LXVI vans. excuse the couch pic.

those pants look too tight on you, especially with the peacoat. weird proportions.
those pants look too tight on you, especially with the peacoat. weird proportions.
they don't really feel that tight and they're the most comfortable thing i've ever had on my legs ever like ever. slim sweatpants are my new favorite piece of clothing right now.
here's it in grey.

sadly we're not gonna live long enough to see how fashion will develop after we colonize other planets
"dude, you're still wearing that chrome jumpsuit with GREEN accents? i went to ISS-23 last month and EVERYONE was wearing chrome with red accents!"

i hope everyone will have wacky hair colors and cool space suits with custom artwork on them
[editline]27th December[/editline]
imagine if everyone on the ISS had azure blue mohawks
sweatpants in fashion(yes including tight ones)? I dunno dude, i only wear sweatpants when i am doing physical activities like running and never when i go out with friends because they can be associated with track pants and track pants instant bad and "chavish"
But i am totally buying tight sweatpants for my workouts and for when i am home.
A lot of people actually are surprised they're sweatpants. I've been following sweatpant fashion very closely for the past few months. there's a lot of interest in merging the comfortability of sweatpants with the slim fit and look of traditional jeans. Like J Crew came out with their "Un-Sweatpants" that had everything pants had like back pockets, zippers, buttons but still have the comfyness of sweatpants. but this shit might be a bit too streetwear or w/e the fuck but just letting you guys know "fashion" sweatpants exist now. i like sweatpants.
but im probably still gonna get some black jeans tho. probably some levi 511 or 514 unless someone else gots alternatives.
Anyone have recommendations on watches?
Sweatpants and peacoats give off two very different vibes tho
Sweatpants and peacoats give off two very different vibes tho
Yeaaa, that's what i love about it! idk i just like how that outfit turned out lol, and im still pretty much experimenting and branching out. it's weird. I started out in this thread not knowing anything about clothing, and i still don't know what i'm doing as i experiment more with different styles. It's a fun outlook on how i dress that makes me happy no matter what the results may come out. some people might like it, others not, I may like some outfits and some just complete shit when I look back at it. just have fun with how you dress, and don't be afraid to fuck with shit and try it out and see if YOU yourself like it. that sounds cliche as fuck but that's my philosophy on clothes nowadays.

What's your budget?
Anyone have recommendations on watches?
Just play safe and get a Timex

I agree. If you can't afford a real quality watch, stick with Timex, Casio and Seiko. Most watches between say a Timex and a Omega are not worth it. Once you get into Omega's (which you can get used starting at around $1000) you start to get watches that retain their value and can actually be sold without much of a loss later. Beneath that they are basically costume jewelry and have no real value.
are we still talking about lunarcore?? i fukken love me some lunarcore
here's a big ol' chart about the color combinations and general look/different styles of it
What's your budget?
Thinking about going a little more than $100, I know G-Shocks are about $100-$150 to my knowledge.
I have a Casio right now that i bought for $25 3 years ago.
holy shit, y-3 warrior is not that expensive as I thought it'd be. I kinda want to incorporate some lunarcore into my outfits. hnnnnnggg
wait shit, the page I looked at was on Gilt and the real price of those are "wow fuck that" levels of dollars.
