Well if you don't wear suits very often, and if you don't already have one, I'd recommend you just rent one from somewhere
I'll see what my mates are doing about theirs and shop around a bit. I hadn't thought about renting. Will post a photo of it here at some point too.

Does anyone know how pants from this website hold up? I currently wear Levi commuters, and they are the only pants I have tried recently that can hold up to everyday wear and tear.
i have a pair of the khaki polychroms in the mail so i will let u know
I really like those grey ones, they'd do great replacing my super faded way too big Vans jeans that I have.
What's a decent price for jeans? Mine are usually $30-40 and those Polychrom are the same.

It's a pretty nice jacket, nothing special really. Got a feeling you meant to post this in the streetwear thread though.
i posted it in both because i thought it was a kind of mix between casual and streetwear
i decided to go maximum dadcore and find an outfit to go with this band collar shirt I found a long time ago. only thing that bothers me is that my neck is too short. oh well.

it does indeed
So, I'm going bald at the young age of 19 (started noticing a couple years ago), and I'm thinking it may be time to shave my head. It's gotten to the stage of having practically a ridiculous combover.
Honestly, I would kill to have luscious hair so I could do shit like THIS:

*wipes drool*
Seriously, though. I want to be confident and feel like this is starting to hold me back. What do you guys think?
[editline]23rd January 2014[/editline]
It may be worth noting that people always think I look more like I'm 24, even wearing a hat and shit. I would post a picture, but I don't have one readily available and can't be assed to take one right now. I can get on that tomorrow if you guys insist, though.
Aye, shaving it is probably a good plan.
Don't just shave it, take a picture first and post it here. It might not be that bad and we might be able to help you. If not, shave it.
If he says he has a ridiculous combover I suspect it probably is that bad
what to do with hair?
inb4 slugs & looking like i'm 13

Obligatory short sides/back and styled top
Seriously it's what the majority of dudes do nowadays and it's hard to fuck up
my friend who had this whole long hair with slicked sides thing going on finally took my advice yesterday and got a short back and sides and he looks sexy as fuck
Trouble is living in vermont is, everyone is just wearing shit all the time. If you wear something nice you stand out in a bad way
Quick question: What do you guys think about this bag?

$90 at microcenter. Was thinking about getting it, just wasn't entirely sure.
Any other suggestions for messenger bags?

awful, looks like it's designed more for practicality than looks so if you really need it to keep your laptop or whatever safe and don't mind looking like you've got aspergers then do it
otherwise you should look elsewhere (might I suggest not looking in electronics stores??) and not worry about having a separate compartment for your charger or whatever you get it in laptop bags these days

I just took a quick look on Asos. These are hundred times better looking, and unless you're really OCD and need pen holders and separate compartments then I'd assume these would hold your laptop no problem. (they're also like a quarter of the price, so you can probably find ones of better quality and similar looks if you've got more to spend)
i almost just fell backwards in my chair from throwing my head back laughing at "and don't mind looking like you've got aspergers then do it"
that one looks like it was designed by an architect

yeah because only people with aspergers buy stuff for practical purposes (???????????)

that said im not about to recommend this bag if youre asking a style thread about it
I can see where you guys are coming from. I just thought it had that simplistic feel to it.
Guess I don't know fashion as much as I think I do.
I appreciate the comments and I'm going to look through more of those Asos bags or find something similar.

Just get a backpack. messenger bags are incredibly hard if not impossible to pull off.
ye messenger backs are pretty bad. the only time I really see them acceptable is if you're in your late 20's or somethin and you work in an office
