What fragrances do you all use? I've never really worn anything before and have spare 30€ on paypal. Any recommendations for summer?

you'll be drowning in gash
I need a backpack for college and it needs to be able to hold a laptop, maybe a few books and other necessities. No real budget but I'd like to keep it around $100, I also want something that will last awhile and something secure for when I'm on my motorcycle or longboard.
You can't really go wrong with an Eastpak backpack. 20 year warranty, lots of room, really good quality and available in lots of colours/fabrics/styles.
If you're really bothered about the way you look I'd get something that's built more around looks rather than functionality but Eastpak is the middle ground between the two.

They don't ship to the US
Aren't Eastpak a US company?
Supposedly they gave up selling packs in the states in 2001.
Oh

They only have the Eastpak hutson and floid on amazon, I need something like the Gooff or Volker.

hahahahahaha
The hutson might work but it looks too small for the amount of stuff I'd be carrying.
that one looks pretty awful too imo, you don't need all those zips and shit unless you get really ocd about your pens not being in the right place
when i was at college i had a padded pak'r which looks small in the pictures but could easily fit 2 big ring binders and has a pocket on the front for little things
when are you ever going to need 4 separate compartments and buckles to secure it around your waste? you're just going to look a twat

On my motorcycle, I need to be able to not only take my laptop to class and stuff but whenever I go home I need the pack to be secure on my back.

My old North Face pack held up nicely, it was the 'big shot' and could carry a laptop easily.
Right now I've been using my Jansport Plesanton and love it.

I'm thinking about getting a Topo Designs or Kletterwerks backpack when my current one falls apart

The 20 year EastPak warranty almost never apply.

Polo Black

Jansport has a lifetime warranty. Send it in, and if they can't fix it and repair it they will refund it or replace it.

Polo Black and Polo Blue are incredibly common, but reliable. They're a safe bet if you want to smell good without really smelling too different, per say.

My girlfriends going on a spring break volunteering trip and needed work boots, so I found these for her, Georgia logger boots. Full grain leather upper, leather midsole, screw reinforced outsole. I swapped out the yellow laces for some black ones, and heated them up and gave them a treatment of Sno-seal beeswax waterproofer and its' so amazing, the water literally beads off entirely leaving the boot dry. Really nice quality boot, I'm jealous. I'm going to pick up a pair of nice work boots for projects and service in the summer. I have no doubt that these boots will last the rest of her life. My dad has boots like these that, since they have been taken care of, are still perfect after 25 years now. Full faith in these.

Yeah it's pretty stock advice in here, I love polo black though. And while it might be common threadwise or in certain areas, I don't think it is down here. Like I could probably make a safe bet that nobody in my college class would be wearing it other than me for example (esp. since not everybody buys cologne and idk if it's easy to get here) so I'm ok with getting the same thing over and over.
Also I get the stick version from overseas just because I prefer that.
I'll be getting Polo Blue, thanks for the input!

My advice about cologne, go to a store and sample everything. Scents are very subjective, and some that I heard nothing but praises about really did not sit well with me. I did like the Polo's though. I took about 30 samples of different ones before I bought the Burberry I've got right now.
if scents are subjective, you enjoying it doesn't necessarily mean anyone else will
ur doomed no matter what
get ur hunny to pick it out 4 u

Get a bag designed for a cyclists, mission workshop are a good example, if you look around though you can get fucking huge bags custom made

i still don't see the point in getting a bag with a ton of straps i rode to college wearing a basic eastpak bag and i've never had any problems with it falling off or anything - just tighten the straps before you set off
on a 50cc scooter which is a completely upright riding position and on a 600 supersports which involves massive hugging of the tank I had no problems
[editline]6th March 2014[/editline]
p.s don't worry about padding and shit, if you get hit by a car you'll be dead anyway so it doesn't matter. if you fall off due to your own error it's very unlikely you'll land on your back

Word of advice. Limit yourself to one spray. You want to smell nice to someone who's close to you and it should be subtle. Nothing turns my stomach more than smelling someone who walks by 10 feet away. My room-mate floods my whole house with his fucking channel and it makes me cringe. Doesn't help the dude doesn't bathe and uses his cologne multiple times a day to cover it up, a little 17th century for my tastes.

That's why you should be subtle about it.
Is New Look a good brand ?
