My mom showed up with some summerwear stuff for me, mainly plaid shorts and cargos and things.
How should I feel about this?
you should feel bad that you allowed your mum to pick out a lot of clothes for you
anyone bought any of the cheap asos plimsolls like these?

Are they okay? I'm not too fussed about quality seeing as I plan on running them into the ground over summer

There's a certain kind of coat that I'm looking to buy, maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
In my head it looks something like: black, long enough to pass my waist, bulky enough to be warm but not a full parka, no hood but instead a collar, and preferably buttoned instead of zipped. What kind of coat comes close to that?
never seen anything like that.
a peacoat

a windbreaker?
a letterman jacket?
New glasses by request.

A mix between all three. Like this, but without the hood.
well i think theres some coats that have a detachable hood.
I think something if off with these lenses though. They're slightly out of focus in the upper half. I'm going to call support and ask about it tomorrow.

Bare in mind this isn't usually what I wear, it's normally all black street wear but I thought I'd try something different

Also new hair cut, but irrelevant
it makes your legs really short. maybe you got a size too big
or maybe you're just wearing your jeans too low. Otherwise it looks pretty good on you.
you look really swedish
My mom's boss gave me 2 garbage bags full of jeans that he and his boyfriend never wore anymore and they fit really nice. The best part is that I was planning on buying a bunch of new jeans to retouch my wardrobe so now I can spend my money on other shit
Whenever I wake up my hair is pretty hard to manage, and since I'm a night-shower kinda guy (this cannot change until next year) I need to wet it down with sink water, and even then the hair looks pretty shitty and I have to comb it frequently throughout the day, which sucks in the winter when hair is all full of static.
Today I got a haircut and realized that my barber always puts a little hair cream or gel or something into my hair to hold it together. I went to CVS and grabbed a tube of some Old Spice stuff that's supposed to do what I need, but I'm open to suggestions.
Do you guys use any hair styling gels or creams? Keep in mind that I'm talking about a side-comb, not spikes or anything.

If I am understanding the style you are going for you probably want some pomade. It is basically gel but for slicking hair, I use it to get the effect I think you want and it works great.

Shoot, I saw some of that on the shelf but decided against it.
Oh well, I'll see how the stuff I got works out, and if it's shit I'll go for pomade.

A word of warning with pomade: The stuff can cause pretty bad acne do to it clogging pores so try to not get it on your face.

erm do what everybody else does that has showers at night? just wash your hair in the sink in the morning. if you're just using water then obviously it's still going to look like bed head/be greasy
alternatively stop being scruffy and wake up 10 minutes earlier so you can shower
guys am i doing it right

yes. that is great. should be added to OP for how not to dress
[editline]28th March 2014[/editline]
ok im sorry, that was mean
it makes your legs really short. maybe you got a size too big
I got a medium, I'm not a small and certainly not a large. The cut is tight in my torso, across the shoulders and arms, which annoys me because in the photo on the ASOS site, he clearly had loose baggy arms.
This aside its a nice shirt, I think part of the legs being to short is the angle the photo was taken at and the fact I had my jeans to low.
christ
how hard is it for people to rotate pictures/take straight pictures

nope. the striped shirt is just bad, and the fit of the jeans looks weird. too wide at the bottom.
also bad shoes.
