The bottom one is a waistcoat underneath a peacoat The brown one is pretty unremarkable, but the buttons look like they're off-centre which is a bit shit. It's got a weird hood part too In any case if an item IS unremarkable, why not get a similar one from somewhere else that isn't korea-shit-suspect?

It is easier to just go to a Target or something, though.
I know the phrase you get what you pay for often doesn't apply in fashion but in this case I think it's right on
guys am i doing it right
I can't see shit in this picture. Pants seem too skinny for your proportions, I would try a slim fit rather than a skinny fit. The shoes are also pretty bulky- and not in an intentional way. I would ditch the green hoodie. The striped shirt can be cool if you pair it right (assuming it's black & white) ignore the guy who said it needs to be tighter, it looks as good as it's going to look for your physique.
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5168294/irl pictures/DSC00433.JPG[/t] good fit y/n? also the mirror is a little dirty which is why it looks like my jeans have white stains on them. also this is my sister's room
too tight in the thigh and seat, the leg opening looks okay. I would have sized up or tried a slightly less slim cut. Try 513's or 508's if you want a slim look (you seem to have big legs), try 514's, 501's or 505's otherwise. fingerless gloves are the worst [editline]30th March 2014[/editline] hobo anime shique
nah, fingerless gloves are great. is that the uniqlo jacket on the second photo?

fingerless gloves make u look like a hobo it's full gloves or no gloves at all
is that the uniqlo jacket on the second photo?
Nope, that's a Carhartt x Adam Kimmel shirt. Probably one of the softest, most comfortable things I've ever had.
people dislike things, welcome to life. theres no need to get so defensive over it
there's no need to be an unabashed shit-head about the things you dislike, either
"i can wear literally WHATEVER I WANT!!! and if u dont like it, well u just HATE fun and PERSONAL STYLE!! you just dont UNDERSTAND ME, DAD"
christ this is an immature comment. This reads like one of those shitty satirical cartoons/memes about "edgy teenagers" that grandmas and middle aged moms pass around facebook & email.
fingerless gloves make u look like a hobo it's full gloves or no gloves at all
No they don't. Those connotations do sort of exist (one of the images I posted with fingerless gloves comes from a user with the username "spacehobo"), but nobody is dumb enough to actually mistake you for a hobo just because you're wearing fingerless gloves. Especially since I am also wearing expensive looking boots. There is nothing wrong with fingerless gloves, if you like them. Which I do.
on second look its not, but i was curious as to how it would fit
The original owner has some pictures with it. here is one: You can't buy it retail any more though, it was from a Uniqlo collab with Undercover in 2012. It's basically a hoodie masquerading as a blazer.
yes that is what i was saying because you are exactly that stereotype
nah. I'm a guy who likes fashion and enjoys dressing in clothes that I like. I don't understand why you think that's a bad thing, or something deserving of ridicule. Are we in middle-school or something?
i said "fingerless gloves are the worst hobo anime shique" you call me an unabashed shithead.
I didn't call you an unabashed shithead, I implied it and said that you were acting like an unabashed shithead. Which I'm sure most people in here would agree with, since there's a minimum of one comment implying you're an asshole on every page in this thread.
for reallies, who is the immature one? c'mon man. this is gettin ridiculous.
still you
you know you can look like a thing and not have people mistake you for it? it's not the same thing
what if I don't care that I look like that thing? (I still don't look like a hobo, there are just elements in my outfit that people associate with hobos. I don't really care. I like those elements, from an aesthetic standpoint.)
nah. I'm a guy who likes fashion and enjoys dressing in clothes that I like. I don't understand why you think that's a bad thing, or something deserving of ridicule. here we go again
You heavily implied it was a bad thing. In general, you seem to have some very undeveloped ideas of clothing. The way you dress is fine and inoffensive but every time anyone posts anything in here that you dislike you feel the need to shit on it, even if the person has established that they know what they're doing and what style they are aiming for. It's a toxic attitude and really unproductive for discussion. Particularly discussion of clothing. Why even have this thread if all you're going to do is shit on the way people are dressing? Your criticism isn't even constructive, it's just ignorant vitriol. Someone could come in here and post a fit in full Rick Owens and Julius, and your response would probably be mocking them for "cosplaying/dressing like an anime character/dressing "edgy"/gothninny/etc" rather than actual, useful criticism. Which, I'm not sure you would even be able to give since you have no frame of reference or familiarity with the style they are going for. It's not like people need lessons from you on how to dress. Anyone can pick up GQ or Dappered and learn how to dress like you in about an hour, complete with infographics and "essential item" lists.
fucking savaril [editline]30th March 2014[/editline] fingerless gloves are ugly and from a practical side utterly useless, what's the point in wearing half a pair of gloves? you wouldn't go to the arctic in shorts
Savaril you aren't swish, stop preaching

I like how they look. I have established this already. if practicality is all you care about, just wear baggy cargo pants and a t-shirt every day. I really shouldn't need to explain to you why someone would go out of their way to wear something that isn't practically useful. There is nothing wrong with looking like an "anime". I don't know why I bother trying to have in-depth discussions about style and fashion with you. You just have literally no concept of fashion or personal preferences, even.
are your pants meshed with your boots
that's not me. But his intent was to make his pants and boots blend seamlessly, and he succeeded very well at that.
you have missed the point entirely. no, there isn't? people can look however they want. I don't understand why you have to be a judgmental prick just because you don't like how something looks. And that's not the same as saying "don't give criticism." You can give criticism. I have been given great criticism by people. It was just reasonable, tolerant criticism that took in to account people's personal preferences, their stylistic goals and other such things.
now that just ain't true, and harsher than anything i've said!
I would say it's pretty true. The outfit you posted earlier is indistinguishable from most of reddit's fashion board. Maybe post some more outfits? Because otherwise, you look the same as all of them to me.
too tight in the thigh and seat, the leg opening looks okay. I would have sized up or tried a slightly less slim cut.
alright. this pair was one of the more skinnier ones so I think I'm good for the rest in terms of how well they fit
i don't take outfit photos normally so i don't really have any (just occasional new shirt photos) but from what i've seen of mfa is that they all dress like their dads with sweaters over button downs and ties (none of which usually match well) which is pretty different from skinny jeans and western shirts

They do have some good outfits on occasion (mainly posted by longtime users who have drifted away from the board and on to other forums), but the majority of what is posted there is stuff like this: which seems to be a dead ringer for your style.
This routine was a chuckle the first few times but god now you two are just going through the motions like an old couple and fairly shitting up fuls you could IM each other or something
