ThatCrazyGman, can you elaborate on why you think this Derk fit is bad:

I'm confused by this because you liked the other Derk fit with timbs. I personally think this one is even better.
to be simple, the other fit "works" more IMO, also I hate the unlaced look of timbalands, other boots look nice that way, but timbalands look way better, also the cuffed pant into boot over tongue look is gross to me. The other fit is way cleaner, also I hate the scarf over the mouth and that ugly bomber
i will never understand how people hate chucks or just generally converse
I was always under the impression that the quality was subpar. I own a few pairs of PF Flyers which are pretty much just converse. They've lasted me years and look almost brand new, compared to my friends chucks that look pretty awful.
chucks are sort of supposed to look beaten to shit...
they can do while still looking fine but they are good quality compared to other canvas shoes and mine have held up very well
Hey guys it's been a while! It's cool that I'm still mentioned in the OP. This is what I look like now:

the shoulder shown is fucked up because of a car accident but I will keep it in mind, thanks for the feedback
Generally not a huge fan of shades, but the sun can get pretty annoying, so I was wondering if these shades are any good?

Get a haircut + take a shower

Any recommendations? Or should I just cut it short all the way around
I don't understand keeping boots unlaced. I have fantastic fitting boots, but if I left them untied they may look interesting if I was standing still but are awfully uncomfortable when you actually have to do anything, it messes up your gate and can cause joint problems. The only way you can get away with it is downsizing or wearing two pair of socks and that seems pretty dumb just for the look.
I don't mind how timberlands look, my girlfriend has always had her eye on a pair but she's got her heart set on Redwing 875's. Timberlands on the whole though have the air about them that they are a work boot that you don't want to get dirty, at least for the people I've seen wearing them. I definitely feel you can get a better boot for the money, but that's not the point.
Savaril, I saw a few pages back you said you were going to get a pair of Dayton boots custom made? $500 is a lot of money for a pair of plain service boots. Considering you can get a pair of USA made Chippewa service boots in nearly the exact same style, with all the abilities to be resoled, repaired and Chippewa has great customer service and you can send your boots back in for repair, all for half that price, at $250.

(Chippewa Service boots)
In my opinion, if you want to spend $500+ on a pair of boots, get some cordovan Alden dress boots or something, because $500 for a pair of work boots that are not specialty purpose like Danner Lineman/logger boots just seems to go against the whole idea of wearing work boots as a look, which is rugged casual.

Alright gents, I just got a job working as a receptionist in a clinic and I need some business casual shit.
I got a few pairs of slacks and I'm planning on getting some Oxford shirts, but I need some opinions on shoes. Anyone recommend a moderately classy set of brogues, preferably in black?

I'd look at what Stacy Adams has to offer, they are a good value brand, nicely made and not to expensive.
i recently decided to try out high waters with dress shoes and no show socks, and just a simple striped tee and the compliments i've gotten are great.
sounds p. bad
is it forgivable to wear the same jeans for a day and a half if i have limited storage space

Yeah.
sounds p. bad
depends on who wears it, and how confidently they wear it.
i wasnt too hyped about trying it at first but im pretty comfortable in it now so
not talking about dress shoes and no socks, it's what you're wearing with it.
wait, are you saying you wash your jeans after each wear?...
