am i the only one who doesnt care about things being bought by a lot of people or other shit.
if i like a piece of clothing, and i think it's a fair price, i'm getting it.
i'm not saying they're bad because a lot of people wear them, i'm saying they're generic as hell because they're the first boots almost every entry-level person who just learned how to coordinate an outfit gets
by all means, get them if you like them, there's nothing wrong with that, but don't fall under the impression that you're breaking new ground
Can anyone reccomend me a nice jacket that I can wear every day? I usually just wear plain neutral t's (black, navy, white, grey) and occasionally wear denim and wool shirts. I want something that isn't too bulky, doesn't need a hood or to be waterproof I just want it to look nice.
I wear boots (brogues) and have light blue, black and indigo jeans. Thinking of buying some wool trousers too.

stop trying to define people into groups. it is a shoe. it doesnt mean people are new to fashion. no need to overcomplicate. he asked which one is nicer. that is all.
stop trying to define people into groups
but people ARE divided into groups. groups of people with the same interest get together, it's not rocket science
desert boots are so fucking overplayed
they are awkward looking and ugly. cap toes and brogues are so much better
[editline]5th June 2014[/editline]
but as least desert boots are better than those toddler sneakers people are obsessed with now

im not talking about interest though. i dont mean things like goth people. you can't really put a person into a group where "people are new to fashion" because he wants desert boots
yeah you can
where are you even getting that from then. do you just look at people and then when they have desert boots you go "aha someones new to fashion" i mean like wtf. it's just a shoe. it doesnt need to signify anything, other than the person liking the boot and thus buying it.
I don't think there's such thing as being 'new to fashion' either. Fashion is an everyday thing that whether or not you are interested in it, you are part of it.

it's just a bullshit fact anyway. did he go around looking at peoples old clothing and said "that's so 2009, i'm glad you bought desert boots because now you're into fashion"
my point being, does it fucking matter? if he likes the shoes he should buy them. buying vans doesnt mean you are a skater either.

on a serious note I don't really dig them because I feel like they would be hard to match with stuff they're not exactly dressy enough to go with slacks imo, and they're blue so they sort of blend with instead of complementing jeans
asking again, is it okay to tuck a shirt into your shorts if you have a nice belt?
Collared yes, otherwise no imo
Collared yes, otherwise no imo
I don't know what you mean :(
If the shirt has a collar then I think it should be okay (like a polo shirt) but if it's a random t shirt or some vneck then no
oh okay I understood you then. yep I have a bunch of buttoned shirts with short sleeves, I love them.
Where did you buy this? I like it!
I've recently bought some herringbone trousers from H&M, they fit really well and the material is v.nice
Black one is sold out like everywhere, dickies do a nylon one that's quite a lot cheaper if that one is out of your budget
[editline]7th June 2014[/editline]
and if you don't like that dickies one specifically, just google coach jacket and you'll find a ton of similar ones
I have a bunch of buttoned shirts with short sleeves, I love them.
