lmao "hemp shoes"
[t]https://us.shop.elementeden.com/media/Product/z/FMED2BHC-BLK-1.jpg[/t]
But yeah that's what I meant with the white strip. Vans and most sneakers are just too bulky and heavy, I don't like them at all anymore. I don't quiet like the design on the bowery though.
Someone gave me a link to these but idk if its worth $75 for Aldo shoes. I've only heard bad things about Aldo.

Also they have the most pretentious sole i've ever seen :v:

an advertisement with every step
i have some Aldo captoe boots and they're pretty good quality as far as i can tell. i mean i haven't gone hiking in them or anything but there's been no issues at all for me after three months of use
[editline]28th July[/editline]
those ones don't look very high quality for the price though tbh
i got tired of my shitty vans that broke after a months wear and spontaneously bought the most common sneakers ever.

[editline]28th July 2014[/editline]
They were on sale for less than 50$
they're nice, if i ever had to wear trainers i'd buy something adidas (or new balance)
i might even buy some for summer, can't really go to the beach in brogues
why desert boots?

I wore those shoes today :v::v:
Does anyone here knows a site that sells laptop bags and stuff in the style of this one : http://www.hardgraft.com/
I really like the hardgraft designs but just can't afford them right now.
what. big shoes with shorts, on a beach? Might as well wear some long soccer socks
who would want to wear that on a beach though, i'd take a pair of flip flops over that any time. mostly because i dont wanna deal with the sand being everywhere.
they aren't really that big, ankle height, I think it looks alright anyway
mocs or sandals would be better-looking in that fit though.
because who the fuck wears boots when it's summer, i mean like, that stuff gets you looks. it's like if you saw a guy run around with shorts and a bigass sweater
they found the lightest and lowest desert boots for some of those pictures, sure those are acceptable. But an actual boot, you know with the tall "neck" and the big heel. no. most desert boots are like that.
desert boots are fine in the summer, but imo, they're not meant to be worn with shorts. fashion is totally subjective though, so I don't care that much for small details like that. wear whatever you think looks good, man
because who the fuck wears boots when it's summer, i mean like, that stuff gets you looks. it's like if you saw a guy run around with shorts and a bigass sweater
i wear boots during summer, and all year round. i don't let seasons dictate style, just layers.
it doesn't look weird at all.
[editline]29th July 2014[/editline]
also as much as i hate desert boots they are indisputably a summer item. that's a fact
guys im a basement nerd and suck at fas hion

pretty gay right?
I'm completly clueless on this shit. I don't even know what colours or right or anything. I am suck when it comes to any form of fashion. like i can't imagine at all how this stuff will look together when its all together and I hate the idea of trying shit in a shop and i hate the idea of sending stuff back (although it's going to happen at some point)
so yeah plz dont be mean. I usually wear whatever but I want to, you know, wear proper stuff properly.
p.s if it makes a difference in colours and stuff, my hair is dark brown and my skin is white.
pp.s posting in this thread kind of makes me feel like a serial killer that is trying to find out how to disguise himself as a functional human being. (no offense to anyone, it's mainly because I have literally no idea what I'm doing.)
[editline]29th July 2014[/editline]
I don't really know what I'm doing posting in this thread. Should I just be finding clothing items and posting them orr???

i don't like these
i'd stay away from white pants, or pants that aren't a variation of blue/black/gray/brown, unless you're studying medicine or something. pants in different colors usually stand out way too much imo
as for the shoes, i'd say don't pick anything with too many details. that doesn't mean it has to be bland, just don't go near anything you'd see your dad wearing
I'm INCREDIBLY indecicive on clothes on shops so this is really fucking difficult for me.
I literally am that guy who would put on denim jeans denim jacket and denim shoes and go in a mirror and go like. "ok, not bad" then i go in public and feel like the biggest retard in the universe.
people are always like "go forth and google clothes you like then put together a set"
so I go and I, being indecicive as fuck, spend a month looking at SHITE (probably skipped over a lot of good stuff) and buy absolutely nothing.
clothing shops are a definate nope. I'm not comfortable walking around in clothing shops and trying loads of shit on.
if you're asking for a style I'm looking for then all I can really say is I just want to look regular. I don't want to look like a hobo, I don't want to look like I have a job (I don't and by that I mean fancy work clothes that imply you have a job) I just want to look like a regular, relaxed, 19 year old. The links I posted are kind of suggestions. the shoes I don't really know if they look retarded or not it's something I need outsider opinion on.
but yeah basically jeans, t-shirt, shirt, belt and shoes would be my optimal outfit. on a summers day at least assuming it's not extra hot in which case cut out the jeans and put in some chino shorts and change the shoes to (insert summer shoes here, another thing i got no fucking idea about, I have one fucking pair of trainers ok)
help me please. at one point in my life I considered buying a fedora. I'm one of those people who could have gone to the darkside but didn't and now I'm in the void
edit: that was meant to automerge whoops.

what shoes would you reccomend? shoes are a big fat gray area for me. It's literally my worst thing. also those jeans were meant to be blue.

oh god why
[editline]29th July 2014[/editline]
if you want basic sneakers/trainers you could always go with something like these New Balance 420s or 574's
Adidas also make some really nice simple trainers, same with Nike and Asics. Otherwise you could always go with something like a pair of Vans.

yes i get that, but i dont see why you would want to wear desert boots to the beach.
if you dont let seasons dictate what you wear youre gonna have a hard time staying warm in the winters. over here in denmark we have cole winters and hot summers.
Hmm you look like a zoo keeper..
I went to Tanzania for three weeks so I brought a boring ass pair of Rayban New Wayfarers (Tortoise Shell)

Fret not, $500 is the testament of its high quality.
yeah buddy i still think all of those boots you took the time to post, in an attempt to convince me, look damn stupid. i would never wear that to the beach. i wouldnt wear it outside either, in a hot summer day. steve irwin would wear shorts and boots.
this or this

Those Vans give off this vibe of "tried but don't care", TNT 5s are cool but I just don't like Vans in general. Honestly if you don't want some Nikes, I would look at New Balance or Adidas classics
E:
There's a sight called SVPPLY, its really useful for building outfits. There's a few problems with it but if you have an idea of what you want to look like and what looks good its really useful
A sight

thanks. this sight is pretty good. but being indiecidsve as I am, it's still a bit difficult figunring out what shoes I want, I need shoe reccomendatiens. TNT 5's seem alright. Should I get those? Should I just find a decent shoe at the top lists on this SVPPLY site and get that?

is this thread hidden or something? It's in the GD but I can't find it when browsing it.

also, TNT 5's are pretty cool in my book, but I also agree with Freddi with the NB or Adidas suggestion.
you could also go for some jack purcell shoes
