can I at least ask whats so bad about with a serious response. I personally see nothing wrong with it
stereotypical, busy design (as with most cowboy boots), it's not gonna work with any clothes you own without making you look like you're wearing a costume
so rusty's boots are okay but mine aren't lol okay
i cant tell if this is a joke or not?
theyre cowboy boots. i know i dress like a cowboy, but that's way too far. mine are brogues. those are timeless. cowboy boots arent. they look terrible unless its part of a costume

are you, like, a texan oil barron? do you wear a bolo tie and a cowboy hat? if not, don't wear those boots

There's literally nothing wrong with wearing them with jeans and a button down.

How is it stereotypical when they're actual real boots?
There's literally nothing wrong with wearing them with jeans and a button down.
except everyone's trying to tell you there is. absolutely anyone anywhere will tell you the same thing, it's not just us.
How is it stereotypical when they're actual real boots?
??? because they qualify as boots it's okay? that doesn't mean they look good. cowboy boots are absurd unless you're an actual cowboy. you might as well strap spurs on them too it will be equally ridiculous.
Whatever well they look good on me so whatever guys sorry for posting I'll go fuck off now
but they probably don't you should post a pic of you wearing them and put that question to bed
Nah because regsrless if I look good in them or not y'all just shut me down and shit on me so whatever I'll stop cramping this threads style with my shit
y'all just shut me down and shit on me
ey dont act like we were flaming you or anything, or like we didn't actually give reasons as to why those are bad
next time this happens, nobody say anything. ask them to post a picture before laughing or theyll never post one at all

I'm looking for a new pair of boots to wear.
For about 7 months now, I've been wearing Doc Martens and some black slim jeans, and I think it looks pretty good. But I think I'm ready to try something new. I like leather, and I would like them to be a dark color, so that they fit in with black jeans.
I'm not really a fashionista so I'm not sure.
Anybody have any suggestions? My price range is $150 or less.
if you're willing to go over your budget, the to boots brennan is on sale for a few more days at nordstrom and seems like a very quality boot

I kinda like them, but they are a bit above my price range and I would like a darker color. I also prefer cap toes. Would these be acceptable?
what do you even call that type of boot? with the fancy patterns that are slightly cowboy-ish
[editline]2nd August 2014[/editline]
does anyone know of good online clothing stores though? that ship to europe
thank you, i dont think theres a danish word for it though :C

then its probably just brogue still?? search on international sites
i dont know any international sites, thats the problem. ive always just used a danish site with a bunch of different common brands, but sometimes it just gets really dull. most of my clothes are from actual stores though, as in i went out and got the stuff
I want a jacket, something I can wear over buttoned shirts that will keep me warm for winter.
Somewhere around $100~

Maybe something like that minus the hood? (I don't like hoods)
Anyone know of anything? - I'm in Australia, too.

I don't know if you are a fan of pea coats, but I got one last winter for around $90. I wore it with button down shirts and it looked great and kept me really warm. Might be worth having a look.
My old glasses broke so I need new ones. Could you people suggest some frames that would look good with my face?

Suggestions for nice haircut are welcome as well.

Pea coats are almost never a good idea.

Chore coats are awesome light/medium-weight jackets, and they (usually) look very clean compared to mechanic jackets and such. if you lived in the US, I'd be able to link you to a bunch of stores that sell them, but I have no idea what stores Australia has access to.
Pea coats are almost never a good idea.
Why?
they're fedora tier imo, maybe on some urban/citywear girls it could work but just looks tacky on guys imo
never really got how casually wearing pea coats was supposed to be better than casually wearing blazers or trench coats or any of that stuff tbh
even in a formal setting, I just wear an overcoat (much simpler and refined than a peacoat). iunno, it's just the buttons that don't sit well with me, especially if the peacoat has epaulets fashioned
