it's just a watch that looks nice but wont draw attention. it's pretty small irl, not very noticeable. also i cant really throw that kind of money on a smartwatch, and if i was gonna get one if would be too scared to wear it anywhere in fear of breaking it. i would love the moto 360 though, looks awesome.
I used to wear those kind of CASIO watches during school days. Surely were neighbor's envy at that time. Now I don't wear any at all.
I still wear my Casio G-Shock as a daily watch. When I go dress up all fancy, I rock my Citizen Eco-Drive.
i want a wooden watch sadly that is out of my price range for watches
I can give you some hard wood if you want
I have $300 now that I want to spend on clothes. What's some good wintery stuff? Still looking for a nice jacket.
get a good scarf. seriously scarfs are magic. too comfy.
zar some of the things you come out with makes me feel like you're actually a fedora wearing neckbeard
Real men don't wear scarves. If anything, they use them as weapons. The only people wearing scarves around me are either gay (not that I have a problem with that, but you probably don't want to give away the wrong signals), sunny-happy pacifistic victims of bullying or just regular creeps.
zar some of the things you come out with makes me feel like you're actually a fedora wearing neckbeard
i didnt mean for fucking showing it off, i mean for keeping your neck warm. seriously i have a big ass jacket for the winter and wind still comes down from my neck and it's not like people can see my scarf, but it keeps me 100% warm. also i cant grow a beard anyway [editline]6th August 2014[/editline] as in for wearing under your jacket. i live in a place with hot summers and cold winters
I think scarves are an option if you're a model or something and can pull them off But there are rare days when I say fuck it and put a scarf on because it's cold and I probably have a cold as well and I'm going out somewhere
jesus christ i wasnt talking about wearing the scarf like you're an aviator or some shit [img_thumb]http://www.carnivalhalloween.com/prodotti/immagini//EL_-UCDAB.jpg[/img_thumb]
buying a scarf is nice, but he should be focusing on the essentials more than the accessories (a jacket, some nice flannel and/or chambray, sweaters, etc.)
buying a scarf is nice, but he should be focusing on the essentials more than the accessories (a jacket, some nice flannel and/or chambray, sweaters, etc.)
well he already said hes looking for a jacket, so i made a different suggestion. everyone has sweaters dont they? or long sleeved shirts. if he doesnt have a good set of boots he should get that as well, going through a winter with your toes freezing hurts
dont get a scarf
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/WM8RRqo.jpg[/thumb]
And here I was thinking I had a pretty solid tie collection
Scarves are almost a necessity when it is very cold in the winter
Fuck that's an old post shit this is what I get for just clicking the thread title
Scarves are almost a necessity when it is very cold in the winter
I think he meant those thin decorative scarves, not the bulky winter ones. Or?
if you're going to get a scarf, it needs to be in a darker color (not white, not neon green or whatever bullshit). something like a dark grey or maroon scarf would work well with any winter outfit. for example: this is fine, it's simple and neutral. it works with basically anything. this, however, is pretty dumb. it doesn't add anything to the outfit because it's so bright. also, it makes people focus more on the scarf than the actual clothes. the scarf should always be mostly merino or cashmere, for a polyester scarf will do nothing in the winter. the scarf should be at least 60", no more than 75", otherwise you end up looking like this fucktard: there you go, now you know how to scarf.

At least he's warm
i just use a tube scarf it doesn't look any different when you put it on than a regular scarf and it's like 10 times easier to put on
i just use a tube scarf it doesn't look any different when you put it on than a regular scarf and it's like 10 times easier to put on
every time someone mentions tube scarves I just come back to this image
that's exactly the type of scarf I despise if you need a scarf because you're cold a) stop being a wussy, I went up Pikes Peak (nearly 15,000 feet) on an overcast day in the middle of winter in just a coat and didn't die - and have been skiing several times in just a long sleeve t-shirt or b) if you really need a scarf get a completely plain one, and make sure it's tucked under the zip/buttons of your coat where only a minimal amount is visible
Some people, normal people, would rather be cozily warm or as close as possible to that rather than sustaining life in less and thinner clothing just so they could tell people afterwards Besides if you're going up a mountain or doing some kind of sporting activity you're dressing (or should be) for function
