you wearing makeup?
you wearing makeup?
Nope, I just have freakishly large and dark eyelashes.
The majority of the men on there are too hipster for something I could wear daily, but I guess it works well as good inspiration. Then again, you have to remember that most of these men are naturally good looking.
that's one of the main problems i have with fashion websites, half the time most of them aren't posting actual good looking outfits, as much as they're just posting good looking people

To be honest, you're always going to be limited on fashion if you aren't good looking. David Beckham for example, could wear anything, and he would still look good. I also think, hipsters who know what they are doing can really look good. Hipsters who wear 'hipster clothes' (note the 'quotation marks') generally look like tryhards
people who aren't necessarily attractive can still dress well
the thing is, people who are really good looking can dress like horseshit and still look good
It's not only clothes, an attractive face will even make a shitty haircut look great.
I don't know how to style my hair
I use gel sometimes, but it looks too formal for some of the clothes I wear, and if I don't use it my hair looks too messy
I would recommend asking your hair dresser next time you get your hair cut. I have very fine, soft hair so whenever I use VO5 clay or wax, my hair was made very flat after a while; but my hairdresser recommended Kevin Murphy Knight Rider as it is made for hair like mine.
In terms of applying wax, depending on the length of you hair, take about a small lump with one finger, then rub it slowly and gently across all four fingers, then run you fingers through you hair a couple of times, unless you use too much wax, this should create a lifted effect to you hairs. To add style, use your fingers to comb your hair, or if you want spikes, pinch and pull the hair with three fingers. Obviously this is my way of doing it, but it might be different for you, just experiment with it when you have some free time :)
So how weird is it for someone that usually wears plain t-shirts to start wearing polos/aeropostales? My friend gave me his since he's moving away and wants to overhaul his wardrobe, so I'm not sure if I should start wearing them.

uhm, not unusual? but i find polos are usually pretty bad unless you're a golfer and/or muscular
yeah i'd generally avoid polos, especially ones with very noticeable branding. they make you look like a walking advertisement and scream "MIDDLE SCHOOL"

What about short sleeve collared shirts in general?
Hard to do. Instead, go long sleeve button up shirts, and roll up the sleeves
Roll up the sleeves

I always opt for long sleeve button ups, but that might just be because I feel like I get more uses out of it then short sleeves which are really only wearable in the summer
I mean if you can afford it go ahead and get a short sleeve shirt if it looks good, they'be become a lot more popular in the past year or so and don't look as bad as I used to think they did
short sleeve button ups can look fine if you wear them right
Speaking of short sleeve button ups I bought this because birds.

The thing about short sleeve button-ups is that they usually were horribly fitted and in gross patterns. Nowadays they've become popular and as such, fitted versions and good looking patterns are easier to find now. I think they look pretty cool.
Could someone give me some good ideas for a nice, classic, simple shoe for the summer - preferably with laces and in beige or gray (or any color you think would go well with beige, I guess) - to go with beige jeans. Price doesn't really matter, but nothing exuberant.
This sort of beige (not the same design, just color):

So how many clothes should I buy? I'm probably gonna buy 1 good quality pair of jeans and a couple of oxford shirts since it's what I can afford until I get a job. Is there anything else I should add? I'm not planning on dressing casual every day, but I'm gonna try and look really good twice a week, the remaining days are probably just going to be look decent.

Getting one good pair of jeans is the best maaan. And you don't really need to clean denim that much (I didn't wash mine until 3 months later) and it's just the best. Levi's 511 or 501s are the best.
my 501 STFs ended up being baggy as hell post-shrinking and it's pretty lame

I've heard that's why you should buy a size smaller than usual. My 511s got a bit baggier too after awhile of wearing them. Still not terribly baggy but definitely not as slim as before.

Shit I misread that. Totally thought she was talking about pants.

I'm a man...
I just couldn't find an image in google that had the the same shade of beige so I inadvertently had to use that picture.

vans era 59
alternatively get them in blue

Three colors, all of them look really good, I can't decide. Which do you guys like the best? The Gray, the Red, or the Blue? Can't get the black/grey one because they don't have it in my size.
