That's the only ritual to be embraced as the holy apostles of "fix up! look sharp" in this thread
I fixed up, attempted to look sharp. New glasses, new hair, and I tried to find clothes that actually fit. Even though the Red Polo in the second-to-last photo (which I am currently wearing) doesn't quite fit, its too soft to not wear :v:
first tip dont wear polos
nope, but its summer and I have a whole bunch of them from when they were all I wore. Why wear down my nicer clothes when I'm just at home all day?
anyoone know where i can get a white or beige bomber jacket?
how exactly do u wear down your nicer clothes? if they're falling into tatters from wearing around your house they're probably not very nice
also because polos are so very bad. there are so many more summer items. like a tshirt. wear a tshirt and not a polo.

really though, what is so bad about polos? I fail to understand this obviously, so enlighten me
they look terrible, they look like they're for rich frat boys
Or clueless overgrown boys who want to look more flash than a tshirt but don't know what they're doing
Point pretty clearly taken

ADYN have some as well but they're fairly expensive.
[editline]27th August 2014[/editline]
also polo shirt's aren't that bad, they only look terrible/ugly on people 90% of the time :v:
still possible to pull one off tho, just have to have the right body type and wardrobe.
things rusty doesnt like = bad terrible fashion
things rusty likes = best and only fashion
but i do have to agree most of the time polos just look ugly and dumb.
are google glasses fashionable???
let's get real for a second there are people in the world who wear google glass every day and think they look like cyberpunk characters
I like Ralph Laurens polos, I can't see much wrong with them so much as they're paired with nice pants and shoes as well.
what kind of material and quilted or or not?

something like the Alpha Industries jackets, but white/beige.

nobodys saying that and if you interpret it that way you just give a lot of weight to my opinion

i hadnt seen the next page by accident but i find that people tend to have to ask you to elaborate often. it wasn't meant to sound rude or anything

pretty sure that one is quite thin, which isn't what i'm looking for.
Bought some Clarks Mali Desert Boots and I'm lovin em
I, for some reason, really want metallic silver shoes. I pretty much only wear blacks and grays so I think they could be a fun accent piece even if they are a little funky.
I found a pair of creative recreations that were almost exactly what I want but I couldn't find any shops that had my size in stock. I really don't want ones with any goofy moonlander looking shit on them. Just plain sneakers in silver. Anyone have any leads?

Rusty has a tendency to phrase his opinions like they are facts but at the end of the day they are just opinions, like yours or mine. Take them or not.
Also got that Casio watch because I liked it. It's not as bulky irl but still has that retro "imma slap lcd screens on everything, thats the way of the future" feel to it that made me get it.
(the main reason ive got it was the fact im making a nostromo crewmate cosplay and it fits well with it, but im not gonna admit it here, because only nerds do cosplay. nerds.)
[editline]29th August 2014[/editline]
Speaking of that, does anyone know of any high-tops that look vaguely similiar to old white PF Flyers, won't cost me as much as a 3 years old car, and won't make me look like a tit if I decide to casually wear them outside of doing cosplay?

let me guess, the "nice clothes" you don't want to "wear down" are also your polos, because you don't really have nice clothes? other than, you know, polos.

How about you boost your shitty self-esteem somewhere else?
[editline]30th August 2014[/editline]
If you are making fun of someone who is trying to improve, you are a level 12 raging cunt in my book.
polos are pretty godawful though
polos are pretty godawful though
I disagree personally, a fitted polo shirt can look good. It takes much more time to find a good fit than a t-shirt, but it can work.
I may have overreacted, but I feel like M_B's comment left the advice territory and went straight into personal insults. If someone wants to be the next Gordon Ramsay of clothing fine, but stuff like that is going a bit too far.
Not even mentioning that half the insults here are from people who wouldn't know any better if Rusty didn't tell them that polos suck.
