It's kinda... military, but whatever floats your boat
Those will sink the boat.
i'd like to see them with whatever else you're wearing like if i bought clunky boots i'd buy doc martens, but that ties in with a different style i suppose. it was a fad at school in like year 9 where i lived to wear black timberlands so i always associate them with that
timberlands always make me think of bob the builder tbqh
It's definitely an iconic design
not rrrreally
I've been obsessing over Wolverine 1000 mile lately, ever since I put on my friend's pair for a short walk. Any EU stores with frequent sales? [editline]6th September 2014[/editline] Also since my Nike's died, I need some other daily shoes. What are your opinions on Reef? http://shop.reef.com/guys-shoes/l/109 [editline]6th September 2014[/editline] Opinions on these Clarks? [editline]6th September 2014[/editline] And these Clarks Manly Alpine? (found one pair in just my size for half the price)
Both super generic looking, I like Clarks but not a fan of either really, the first ones just look like grandpa vans or something
Could you elaborate on why the boots look generic, and why is that in your opinion a bad thing?
if a shoe has absolutely nothing going on in its design then that's when it starts to look kind of awkward and stilted to me, that's why i don't like chukka boots or timberlands. cap toes look way better imo [editline]6th September[/editline] awkward in the sense that there's no style or substance at all to them, like someone who's a really stiff dancer
i really want a pair of grenson boots but they are way outta my budget right now
may buy these whats funny
Could you elaborate on why the boots look generic, and why is that in your opinion a bad thing?
I mean they just look like a dull pair of boots, they're not that bad but they are just incredibly bland
I mean they just look like a dull pair of boots, they're not that bad but they are just incredibly bland
And bland is exactly what I'm looking for, they have to fit everything else I wear since I can't afford two or more pairs of boots, and winter is coming. [editline]6th September 2014[/editline] Tho if you guys have any recomendations for good boots I can get in Poland (can be other EU countries as long as shipping is reasonable) for less than $100 (the boots I showed are on sale), I will gladly listen. All other boots I like are really hard to find outside of US. It's like Red Wing doesn't even exist here.
may buy these whats funny
they look a bit like... melted chocolate?
they look a bit like... melted chocolate?
This picture has less of a melty chocolate vibe
yea dont like them at all [editline]8th September 2014[/editline] i want these [t]http://grensonstatic.mage.prop.cm/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/3ded933209b7ca864bb419a7f14cf572/s/h/sharp-5032-15_web.jpg[/t] http://www.grenson.co.uk/en_gb/shop/sharp-11547 [editline]8th September 2014[/editline] although matte would be nicer. ship sailed on the less shiny versions
Just snagged Wolverine Apprentice in EU 45 for dirt cheap. Wouldn't buy them for the full price, but for 1/3 (dude got a wrong size) I think they are worth a shot. Not the prettiest, and leagues away from US made 1000 mile when it comes to quality, but they shouldn't have problems with snow and slush. Will update if they break apart and die after first snow.
Here's a new try from me. Do I look more like a human being now (missing head notwithstanding)?
you're improving but there's still a lot to be done. get your hands on some slim/skinny jeans, stay away from long sleeve t-shirts, don't tuck t-shirts in, and get a plain shirt instead of a striped one and button it up [editline]8th September[/editline] shoes are also not good so i would replace them with some brogues, cap toes, converse, or vans

-the pants are a few inches too high, and maybe it's just the way you're standing but they make u look slightly feminine. also, dont buy bootcut jeans--if those are. -belt looks like a pirate would wear it -boots look very plain, something more elaborate would do
Here's a simulation for what I figure Cone's suggesting using whatever old clothes I had lying around and some clothespins. Frankly, I can't imagine myself using skinny jeans as a) my knees aren't perfectly straight and b) my tights are a lot fatter than my shins. EDIT: oh and any lower waist than this and I'd get a massive plumber's crack every time I'd bend even a little (or rather, would get if I didn't wear underwear).
nobody's knees are straight though? wtf lol
Meaning to the sides, not front/back. Opposite of cowboy legs. Whenever I see anyone using skinny jeans with knees like that it looks awful to me.
uh yes. that's how knees work. you have normal knees. i think you might have some kinda body dysmorphia complex about your own knees [editline]8th September 2014[/editline] look at some medical illustrations of the human body and you'll be like 'dang I guess I am normal, I just dress badly!'
Fix Up! Look Sharp v10: dislocate your knees for fashion.
that does look much better though tbqh. not quite stylish but at least he don't look like a goth billy ray cryrus fan anymore
Just got an email that the size 45 Wolverines I wanted to buy were already sold, and he just forgot to pull the ad. Ok. Ok. Any suggestions for frigid winter boots?

I can't see it in the picture but make sure you aren't buttoning the top button.
