melbourne
[editline]3rd June 2013[/editline]
that is not normal at all.
i imagine then i should be thankful i never have or notice or feel hot legs, because i can wear jeans year round and it's not a problem
yeah I think you're just a wierdo
my legs get hot and I live in canada
it's just like one layer though. why is that so hot for people? like, when it's really hot, you don't wear a half top and show mid drift. you just wear a tshirt and it's fine. same goes for my legs.
i wear a half top when it's really hot
it's called a singlet
[editline]3rd June 2013[/editline]
shorts are the best
it's just like one layer though. why is that so hot for people? like, when it's really hot, you don't wear a half top and show mid drift. you just wear a tshirt and it's fine. same goes for my legs.
wearing jeans on a hot day is irritating as fuck. you'll start sweating and the jeans cling to your legs and it's just all together unpleasant.
that has never happened to me and since you live in the uk i am going to assume i have seen far hotter days
I live in the Middle-East. been here for the past 5 months. trust me on this one.
and even in the UK, we get the odd hot day which is enough to cause your jeans to stick to you like clingfilm.
i don't know about the middle east but i've survived 40c+ days wearing jeans very easily
[editline]3rd June 2013[/editline]
just dont get it. ive never even thought about leg heat
[editline]3rd June 2013[/editline]
i am the supreme being i have evolved to be above shorts
Was 42c today and it's not even truly Summer yet, July / August we'll be hitting 50c+ no joke
made the mistake of wearing jeans when I first got here and I'll never do it again. is it very windy in Australia? its not so bad if there's wind blowing I guess.
sadly, us, mere mortals, cannot compete with beings of non-short-wearing levels such as rusty
that has never happened to me and since you live in the uk i am going to assume i have seen far hotter days
It's not so much we've seen hotter days, it's just we can't handle the heat :v:
or the cold
or any weather
no weather is satisfactory in britain
I'd say 22.5 degrees, sunny with a few clouds and a very light breeze is okay weather. Everything else is shit.
How come this thread is hidden in GD? I don't normally use this thread.
i just dont understand how a hot day makes your legs hot. i dont feel the temperature in my leg area. its a total non issue. torso area yes of course but legs? 'man my legs are too hot' is nothing i have ever said or thought
You don't fret for your legs separately, the warmer you dress the higher your overall body temp will be and the faster heat will become unpleasent. I don't sweat out of my forearms either, but that doesn't mean I can go out on a blazing hot day in a long sleeved top without any consequences at all.
I mean, how does a hot day make you hot is what you're asking basically, it's just common sense
You must either spend all of your time indoors in air-conditioned rooms or have some bullshit bedouin desert nomad blood or something

You've got denim genes
ho ho ho
it's just like one layer though. why is that so hot for people? like, when it's really hot, you don't wear a half top and show mid drift. you just wear a tshirt and it's fine. same goes for my legs.
Pants are to shorts just as long sleeves are to t-shirts, not t-shirts to tube tops
i wear shorts when i will be outside for an extended amount of time because here in texas it can get up to 43c or higher
[editline]3rd June 2013[/editline]
melbourne
yeah, in melbourne the average high in the hottest month is 25.9c.... that is definitely pants weather. the average high in the hottest month where i live is 35.8.... there is quite a disparity
[editline]3rd June 2013[/editline]
so yeah i think its appropriate for me to wear shorts sometimes where i live because it is extremely hot often
[editline]3rd June 2013[/editline]
i never cuff my pants though thats stupid
I can imagine Rusty walking through the shops with his tons of bitches and bitching about everyone he sees wearing shorts or have cuffed their pants while wearing his Drive jacket.
I kind of want this
but black mannequin
confliction

ignore big dumb pixel box
do not get
Black mannequin or no, it's still rubbish
Yeah. Near mpossible build, pins in the back to pull it taught, uncanny lighting to accent perfect, unnatural ripples and folds, a-acid wash... j-j-jeans...? I...
Man. I gotta let this thread back into my life again. But I don't have any fashion related news at the moment. So how about home decor. Would it be a tacky move to frame and mount albums as decoration? Particularly rare, limited pressed, or extremely valuable stuff. As if in a museum, is what I'm thinking. Frames that are slightly wider than the sleeve so that you can have the record peaking out to see the record label as well.
Uhh.. Something fuls related too. My suede shoes are still looking perfect. Kiwi waterproofer is living up to the challenge.
mounting vinyl is class as fuck, go for it

Sweeet.
Sweeet.
yeah it can look nice, I have a few classic rock albums framed up, I have the Random access memories vinyl ready to be framed too
Can someone post a picture of what a well fitted short sleeve button up shirt should look like?

you can tell all these black mannequin stuff is pinned back hard to make it look slim fitting. its gonna be loose as heck and awkward looking on a person because you cant walk around with clothes pegs on ur back

Better fitting blazer, darker jeans and styled my hair a bit, think I need a better fitting shirt. Also any suggestions on shoes?
Your outfit looks nice, but for what occasion are you using it? Is it just casual, or are you going to some kind of event? And not to offend, but you look young, and if I dare to say, a bit too young to pull that outfit?
