Interesting and unusual doesn't necessarily mean something looks good
fashion in usa is ugly
what people wear in the usa doesn't reflect the availability of fashionable items you can buy
i've been in the us for nearly 6 weeks and there are plenty of stores with great clothes. i got all of the clothes in my pictures in the states. there's a lot of nice clothes for really affordable prices. forever21 has some nice but very affordable mens stuff (as well as some not so nice stuff but nowhere is ever all great)

We also have H&M, along with many other affordable yet nice stores in most major cities.
yes h&m has some nice and cheap casual stuff
america has great stores with cheap, awesome clothing, me and my friends always wondered why so many people dress badly over there
america has great stores with cheap, awesome clothing, me and my friends always wondered why so many people dress badly over there
it's because they legitimately think dressing like that looks good
i have lots of friends who have terrible taste in fashion but they think it looks good
i don't stop them or anything because i mean whatever makes them more confident and then that's probably how it is for the rest of america
people in europe just care a lot more about their clothing from my experience. people in nyc dresses like shit at least. so many dad jeans and college hoodies and running shoes.
but the average NYC citizen dresses like shit
depends where in nyc. there are parts that are full on hipster central. youd love it.
i wish i could visit a more populous city like nyc or los angelas for that exact reason. i live fairly close to dallas, which, while it is a fairly large city, lacks the same kinds of numerous small clothing businesses that are common in nyc, los angelas, etc., at least from my experience
we do have the same large chain stores as everywhere though, like urban outfitters and H&M etc (though the former is much too expensive for me to shop there often)
also i have some qualms with H&M clothing, because i can never get it to fit me ever.
stuff from everywhere fits me. size small was made for me
i always buy size small, but i have a large chest for my size, so it's always really tight on the chest. i've never tried medium, but i assume it would be too big. how tall are you and how much do you weigh anyway? by means of comparison? i am 5'8" and 140 lbs
[editline]25th July 2013[/editline]
also as much as i think H&M clothing looks nice, they sure do manage to make it look like shit in the pictures on the website

I have similar haircut and use pomade, i find it doesn't hold well at all though so i add a bit of ~weak~ hairspray too. works p good.

It's about the same price as any american crew hair product, they're great quality and smell great.
And a small tub like that will last a fair amount of time.
(fyi 13 quid is not really a lot of money)

In general, it means "non-mainstream" but in terms of fashion, it's mostly a buzzword.
what do you think
