Also, it needs to be able to be secured to me firmly on my back, as I commute on a motorcycle for a good portion of the year.

Its a bike messenger bag modified to be a laptop bag and it has a lifetime guarantee. Its fucking bomber. As long as no one pokes the seatbelt buckle while you're on your motorcycle, you'll be fine.
Also, theres a little extra strap that goes under your left armpit and buckles into the main strap so it doesn't swing around.
I'm going to need a second opinion on this, though it's at least doing well in the not looking too busy catagory. Sorry notlabbet, but your postings of camo make me wary of taking your advice.
I have been using a chrome bag for the last year or so of commuting. I couldn't be happier, the durability is just insane.
[editline]August 6th 2013[/editline]
If the chrome buckle is too flashy, they make ones with a flat black finish.
i'm not too picky on bags, that one looks fine imo

I'm more of a fan of not shiny things, yes. I don't mind a bit of intricate designing, but if it shines I refuse to buy and wear it.
The black buckle one looks rather nice though, I'll probably end up picking one of them up.

I wasn't referring to any of the visible things in the bag, it was an idle dig at notlabbet's taste :v:
Hit a party the other night looking like the best dressed guy there.
I wanted to share the outfit. I just picked up this jacket at HnM and I fell in love with it instantly. I've made 2 outfits out of it using the same pants/belt/jacket but different shoes and shirt.
Threw this up on my IG and FB and didn't get any love, let me know what you guys think.

I don't much care for the fit
But maybe it's just the photo and the model's looming hoverhands

or should i just get normal red ones with white laces?
how tight are jackets supposed to fit
because im 31 chest should i get a 31 chest or a 32 chest
jackets should be a relatively close hug, with room for a few layers underneath if you need it. but i see a lot of people wearing oversized jackets and it looks terrible and usually makes you look like the biggest geek (not hipster geek just regular ass one). if u want 2 look like ryan gosling get a tightish fitting jacket
if you wear a size small shirt, wear a size small jacket. (although a lot of people wear shirts too big for them too so)

Dunno man, the fit looks alright to me!

not a huge fan of the laces, but I love the colour tones on those.
any good places to shop for pants, jeans specifically?
i recently bought a pair of skinny chinos from h&m and i have to say, i love the way they fit; in fact, in light of how well they fit, i've resolved to buy some more better fitting pants. sadly, my local h&m store is so small that the selection there isn't very broad, and i feel as though their sizing is too erratic to attempt to purchase anything online and expect it to fit. in addition, i've decided that i don't really like the way pacsun pants fit at all because there is a lot of extra material in the upper thighs and crotch which makes the pants appear poorly fitting to me in general. so basically i'm looking for suggestions other than h&m and pacsun, if anybody has anything good to share with consistent sizing
Levi's has my favorite fitting pants ever. Unfortunately they're a bit of a price jump from H&M. But they will also last you forever if you take care of them the right way so I think Levi's are well worth it.
i started wearing boys sizes and wow these fit a lot better holy shit
well thats vague
My new shoes arrive tomorrow!

makes you look really young, I'm kinda sick of seeing chinos + varsity jackets especially considering where I live it's pretty much what every under 16 year old wears
when i come to think about it, i have showered pretty much every day for the past week, so stressy

chrome bags are top notch quality and super comfortable, too.
[editline]6th August 2013[/editline]
holds a lot of extra stuff as well
Chrome are top quality but also have massive price tags. I'd go with eastpak, they have great commuter bags and p sure they have a lifetime guarantee.

well that too :v:
been out walking on a fair for 10 hours, running my ass off at work, and hot summer days
You're supposed to enjoy showers after activity like that you know, they shouldn't stress you out
You do use the hot tap right? :v:
