I'm thinking about ordering the Stacy Adams grey Madison boots as well. Which one did you end up going with of the two you posted?
I'm three weeks into wearing my Frye James Lace ups, far and above the best quality boots I've ever had. Full leather sole, has a nice loud step. They have broken in wonderfully with no pains.

I really recommend Frye boots to anyone, the quality is fantastic.
I'm waiting for my pair of Red Wing 875's that are in the post as well. Breaking those in will take longer than the Frye boots though.

what do you guys think about the SPINNS line of clothing
im a little pale asian boy so it might look good on me
well thats definitely street. If you want to go for that look go for it, although the haircut and his face always make him look feminine, extremely feminine, oh and child-like. Id still buy clothes that would fit me better

I heard 2014 summer's H&M collaboration is with Givenchy. Is that just rumor?

I went with an ebay listing that just had 'brown' and a picture that was indistinguishable from the two. So it'll be a surprise! But I'll be happy with either.
i think those questions go beyond style
i dont think what kind of meaning behind what you wear should be argued in fashion. i wear stuff to try to convey things like "hey i want to party" or "hey i want to get a job" or "hey i want to look like a little japanese boy". the point of another's opinion is to decide if what im wearing or what i decide to wear conceys that meaning and if it looks good.
if someone was going to wear a fedora to try to look suave, then you say no that doesnt look good and it makes you seem... blah blah blah. but if they were going to go to a costume party as humphrey boggart then you go ok yeah.
i hope i got the message through. i suck at writing.
Out of curiousity, does anyone here use hair product? And if so, which? I just like to get it up and off my forehead, not a big fan of the Tunnel Snakes or slicked back shiny or anything like that.
i part my hair and slick it up and to the side without any product. you can mold your hair if you keep doing the same thing. eventually it will pretty much stay that way, with no product. i dont like using it because its too much consistent effort and dont really like the sheen it gives hair. so i recommend just training your hair to stay a certain way. then all it requires is a quick brush and you're done. it helps a lot if you have thick hair too
Huh, you and I both? Normally I can just push it up and into places without anything. It's just during physical activity or humid days it tends to fall out of place and look awful.
nobody's going to hold looking awful on a hot day or after physical activity against you. happens to everyone. its normal and nobody thinks twice about dischevelled hair on a hot day
Hey guys, since I think I've got my jeans and shoes pretty much done ( don't go outside much anyways)
and I'm getting pretty bored of the my T-shirts, what kind of top can give me the "fashion" edge that isn't a checkered/plaid Button ups that also doesn't require layering. I've always wanted to do layering but its like almost 32C here everyday by the equator. Nothing else comes to mind except simple printed button ups.
How does y'all think of Grenson Fred V?
I wanna buy one.

This cap looks pretty neat tbh. I really like HUF clothing, it is something different than what you'd see in stores around here.
the cap doesnt look bad, but weed leaves on clothing just screams "hey guise i'm a stoner can't you see?? am i cool already????"
[editline]17th August 2013[/editline]
might as well wear it with a bob marley t shirt, a belt with tribal designs and shoes with the jamaican colors
Don't forget to be wearing these around your neck:

Any jeans that isn't skinny jeans really, just get them a size bigger if you're really worried about mobility I suppose.
So I sometimes wear clothes, could use some general C&C about my appearance

[sp]I know my hair is pretty terrible at the moment, I'm going to be getting it cut soon.[/sp]
also what's everyone's opinion on Varsity Jackets?
Haircut
Other than that there's nothing to shake a stick at I guess. Converse argument inbound.

You would not suit a Varsity Jacket.
You would not suit a Varsity Jacket.
why?
[editline]18th August 2013[/editline]
also, would just a basic short back and sides be decent looking?
becuz only me is allowed
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1482927/IMG_0211.JPG[/t]
I've got long as hell hair right now but it's starting to thin a bit and I'm thinking about getting it cut short (don't want to become one of those 30 or 40-somethings clinging to long hair despite barely having any left). Since it's so long I can basically cut it to any style imaginable, but I don't really want to have to deal with it constantly
What's considered more or less generic these days
