What do you think happens after we die? ( In Theory )

I believe that life is nothing more than a complex combination of molecules and electric energy, and thus, when we die, the laws of physics say that all that we are will continue to exist. I, as a person, will cease to exist, but the parts my body and mind consist of will stay part of the universe.
I think it sounds great that I might become part of new life, new stars, and everything else.
When you die there is a spark that goes off in a tiny nanosecond.
You live forever frozen in this nanosecond in a constant dream where nothing makes sense.
It's just food for thought, nothing more.
Nothing, you just sleep in a casket that's six feet under, you have no perception of the Earth about you, at all.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Also, your body will begin to decompose, and you'll eventually become mulch for the ground.
I wish I could experience death temporarily so I could prepare myself for what it would be like. Trying to imagine it doesn't work for me. I understand what it's supposed to be like but then a thought runs through my mind and ruins it.
first, giant dmt trip
then you lose all ability to perceive, feel and reason because of brain death
with that you lose all ability to care, and nothing really matters
our souls go to "heaven"
and our bodies decompose
I believe the good go to heaven and the bad go to hell. Just typically what I was raised to believe. But I remember being a kid thinking "When I die, I'll go to heaven and have a crap ton of fun" Then I realized I would be there for the rest of eternity and was scared shitless. You only die once. Dumb comment?
I believe that when one dies, he or she would surely meet his/her Maker. Based on his/her deeds and actions during life, the individual would either be welcomed by God to go to Heaven, or be turned away from Him and, in consequence, be casted into Hell.
This is a completely non-serious suggestion but:
Respawn.
You cease to exist, that's all there is to it.
You become a ghost and watch girls undress without penalty.

You will become one with the Earth. It's kind of a beautiful thought.
Generic Christian Heaven with the Hindu belief of reincarnation as an option.
Sigh, this thread has been made so many times by so many different people. I myself want to believe that there is some form of afterlife (no I am not devoted to any religion, I am fully atheistic, or that other term whatever you want to call it)

It isn't so beautiful when you think about all of the creatures that will consume your decomposing body as you're underground.
it's like losing all feelings, you cant see, feel, touch, hear or think.

Atheism and a belief in something supernatural/spiritual don't have to contradict each other :)
Then my thousand year reign of blood will end.

Yeah I thought about that. Makes it all the more naturally beautiful.
I'd like nothing more than to have some kind of Heaven but I believe we just die, that's that.

No man deserves to go to hell
Personally i'd be content with just continuing existence in a different state of affairs; like a shadowy parody of our world, where everything looks the same except it's all in monochrome, save for other spirits who are in colour.
I like the idea of the dead somehow being connected.
I mean once a person dies, he simply goes away. So, if there is anyone to keep company for the dead, it would have to be the dead themselves, together!
But it's just some typical wishful thinking. We know what will happen when we die, but we weren't given our imagination for nothing.
What happened before you were born?
Don't remember?
Oh okay well same idea.

You forgot it => It didn't happen?
I believe that when our brains die, we become gods of our own universes...
At least that's what I want to happen.
