eyes are misaligned and nose looks weird as hell
Fantastic drawing, I'm not really seeing too much resemblance though.
Wow, this is great. But the eyes and nose are a little weird.
Very nice, the only problem is the nose is too small. [editline]02:38AM[/editline]
eyes are misaligned and nose looks weird as hell
Most faces are asymmetrical.
Thanks captain obvious but if you look like one on OP's pic you belong in a jar filled with alcohol.
eyes are misaligned and nose looks weird as hell
This, and could use better shading.
shading it self is okay, light sources and making sense, however...
the nose is kinda thin.
shading it self is okay, light sources and making sense, however...
Light source seems fine to me, he obviously used a photograph as a reference anyway. When drawing a portrait generally you want to aim for as much realism as possible (in order to convey the proper emotions and so people can determine the person drawn. Of course complete realism isn't always necessary, but that was what the op was aiming for.), there was a thread on conceptart.org that really demonstrated what more values can really do and just how much realism they can add. That and the shading itself is a little sloppy at points especially around the neck. If I find the thread I'll link it. Found it.
Holy shit, that's fucking scary.
Thanks captain obvious but if you look like one on OP's pic you belong in a jar filled with alcohol.
Chill, why are you criticisms so damn grumpy all the time?
Why go "tra-la-la-la-la!" all the time?
Thanks captain obvious but if you look like one on OP's pic you belong in a jar filled with alcohol.
don't be a cunt
Just checked out google images and it's that dolt from D9. I tought it was tom cruise all the time. You made him look way too young, aka not enough wrinkles and overall the head feels fucking huge compared to the face. Eyes being in completely another dimension was most likely caused by the fact that your reference image he had his head tilted and you forgot to compensate for that. You should observe and measure more carefully instead of looking at the reference image once and then trusting your gut feeling.
