Blue is for faggots. Pencils are for little kids Black. on the other hand. Is for grown men
As an Electrical Engineering student, I usually use handwritten stuff for schematics or mathematical stuff, so I'm forced to use pencils (I don't know if you've noticed, but erasing mistakes, which we often make when drawing, is a lot easier with pencils) Other than that, I use pretty much pens exclusively. I keep both a blue and a black pen in my "pencilcase" (front pocket on my backpack), but prefer blue because of the colour, I guess.
I dun no how 2 rite gud
Anything, as long as I can erase it when I feel like having to do so. (No pens unless for signatures) EDIT: @GussGriswold You think I'm an old man? Tippex all over the monitor is a sign of grandma having used the PC

Between pens I couldn't give less of a shit. If I have a lecture or workshop I'll use the first pen I grab from my bag, which will be either a black or blue ballpoint. Out of all writing utensils I prefer to use mechanical pencils. They has the neatness of writing with a pencil (pens are just sloppy as) without the shitty feel of using a standard pencil. Doesn't need constant sharpening either.
black
If you use pencils it looks very unproffessional
0.35mm thick 2h pencil for plan lines, a mechanical 0.7mm thick pencil for finished lines or block writing, a black pen for writing.
i always use a red pen
