I saw this movie and it was awesome. But Brad Pitt was an awkward character. He overdid the american thing.
He was supposed to be a hic.
I loved the gore.
basterds
Way too fucking long. Not enough of the dialogue was exciting enough to hold its own for as long as they made it. The bar scene was literally like 30 minutes. Not enough gore (Chapter 2 was easily the best part of the movie) and way too much talking. I enjoyed Valkyrie more because of the obvious drawbacks that could've easily been avoided.
Talking in a Tarantino movie?!?! Who would have thought?
yeah, but i didn't find the conversations to be very interesting needed more shoot shoot
Just saw it. Reallllly long. Really weird.
About to watch it tonight, will post critique.
It was teh epicness... Oh yeah! ^^

But that's what's so great about his movies, the dialogue is always extremely well written and performed and it doesn't get boring even if you've got a 30 minute long scene of people just talking.
yeah, but i didn't find the conversations to be very interesting needed more shoot shoot
Are you kidding? The conversations had me on the edge of my seat for spans of 25min, that's good dialogue.
Just got back from it. It's worth watching.
Lol, your cheesy bold makes me never want to watch it.
So don't. You're missing out.
When basically 2 and a half hours of talking can keep you on the edge of your seat, you know it was a good movie.
For those of you who are waiting for it to come out on dvd/br, don't. This movie is MADE to see in theaters with a giant group of people all in tune to it. That's why there's so many pauses and downtimes after action scenes and funny moments. The audience needs to respond. That's what makes it such an enjoyable experience. If you're alone in your room watching it on a small ass screen, it's not as fun nor entertaining.
How about if I watch with 2 friends on my small screen in my room???
Can't wait to see it!
Am I the only one who thought Brad Pitt did amazing?
It really is one of those movies with an acquired taste. And boy was it delicious. It was fucking amazing. THE BEAR JEW
So, District 9 + Inglourious Basterds = Fooking Natzis?
I just came back from seeing it, I was very pleased.
it was a dissapointment they only killed nazi's like not even 1/4 the time, its not like the previews
I'd have to say that this is definitely Tarantino's best film. Awesome cinematography and dialogue.
I saw this and I'm quite conflicted now can't really determine if I think this or Pulp Fiction is better I'm really inclined towards this atm the fact that it's a remake doesn't even phase me
Awesome movie, it's a masterpiece. Christoph Waltz and Mélanie Laurent both impressed me greatly. The dialogue was really well written, most scenes were actually intense and the amount of details put in the movie was simply awesome. This is surely my second favourite Tarantino movie so far, which is pretty damn amazing considering my favourite film of all time is Pulp Fiction.
Should've been a lot more like chapter 2 was. Chapter 2 did every element perfectly, nailed the good dialogue, good violence, and the awesome back story that came from nowhere.
Just got back from seeing this, it was awesome.
Can someone explain to me what the movie is about to begin with? All i know is Americans killing Nazis.
