It's about HITLER GETTING SHOT IN THE FUCKING FACE LIKE A BILLION TIMES SERIOUSLY THAT SCENE OWNED
Can someone explain to me what the movie is about to begin with? All i know is Americans killing Nazis.
It's a "Pulp Fiction-esque" story of a bunch of World War II mercenaries who's goal is to kill as many Germans as possible in an alternate-universe where World War II changed dramatically.
The bar scene had me at the edge of my seat for so long. The one-liner right before the shootout made me giggle.
Ey Tony, here's someone who wants to die for his country. *clink* *clink* *clink* That was the best part for me. Also, this film had the most realistic gore you can ever see in a movie.

I lock my door every night so the Bear Jew doesn't get me.
You spelled "Inglorious" wrong :)
Don't know if this has been addressed, but the name of the movie is spelt Inglourious. Therefor since it's a name it's not spelt incorrectly. Same for Basterds. I think it's supposed to be spelt Bastards but QT likes his bad spelling ratings. Oh wait, unless you were talking about the link in the OP, in which case yeah he did spell it wrong :v:
That's what Tarantino movies mostly are, lots of talking. But that's what's so great about his movies, the dialogue is always extremely well written and performed and it doesn't get boring even if you've got a 30 minute long scene of people just talking.
This times 100 I'm not a fanboy of tarantino's, but he is DAMN good at writing dialog. [editline]09:20PM[/editline]
I saw this and I'm quite conflicted now can't really determine if I think this or Pulp Fiction is better I'm really inclined towards this atm the fact that it's a remake doesn't even phase me
it's not a remake of anything it just has a title which was inspired off of another ww2 movie [editline]09:21PM[/editline]
Don't know if this has been addressed, but the name of the movie is spelt Inglourious. Saw It yesterday, and loved it. Amongst others I saw It with my friend wilhelm, my name is Max.
I laughed so hard at the "shot in the testicles" scene. :3
yeah that was me, original thread title was Inglorious Bastards so I edited it
Love 'ya, Rusty.

The way they pictured Hitler is stupid.
The way they pictured Hitler is stupid.
Yeah, I agree. Color film wasn't out in 1944, so it's completely unrealistic to see Hitler in color. They should have made him in back and white. Oh, and everyone knows that Hitler didn't get shot by the Bear Jew. It was actually Little Man who shot him. Fucking DUH! [editline]11:13PM[/editline]
I just watched it. I haven't been this impressed by a movie in ages. I loved it, it was perfect. A question though: When the Donny punches and simultaneously shoots the door guard in the face with the arm pistol, did you guys laugh? My and a friend did and we quickly realized we were the only ones in the theater who did.
I was pretty much the only one laughing throughout the entire film. But where I live most people don't really get QT or film.
It's about HITLER GETTING SHOT IN THE FUCKING FACE LIKE A BILLION TIMES SERIOUSLY THAT SCENE OWNED
put that shit in spoiler tags, asshole.
it's not a remake of anything it just has a title which was inspired off of another ww2 movie
cool, man I was so happy when I heard Samuel L Jackson's voice
Eh, like I said, too much pro-American and Americentric bullshit in it for me (four soldiers couldn't possibly outsmart and defeat the German army, which was the best of its time). I probably won't even bother to watch the trailer for this.

I was actually surprised to see that [sp]Brad Pitt's character actually lived through the whole movie. I honestly though he was going to suffer a fate similar to Vincent's from Pulp Fiction. 'Course, I didn't except the Jew Hunter to live through the whole movie, either. Just goes to show you.[/sp]

looks pretty stupid to me
You look stupid.
looks pretty stupid to me
Why don't you watch the movie before you judge.
One of the best movies I've ever seen.
Can anyone recall the one liner before he gets shot in the balls? Also I loved the glove weapon, that just kicked ass.
I need to see this.
I loved the fight scenes in this movie. They were so realistic. Especially the part where they break him out of prison, it was so fast, all the guards were dead in like 3 seconds. I hate is when in movies something as simple as taking out 5 unatentive guards with a fully automatic machine gun gets drawn out into a 5 minute long shootout.
Funny to see the reactions to this movie. It's like this is the first QT movie anyone ever saw. To sum up the reations: 1.OMG TO MUCH REEDING1! IF I WANNA READ WORDS IN A MOVIE I'D REED A BUK! 2. Um, where was like, all the war stuff. You know, uhh, like, the bombs and stuff. 3. That movie promotes violence and that is exactly what's wrong with our world, too much violence. 4. Why was thar a blak dood in it? 5. Oh my gosh. That movie was not at ALL historically accurate! First of all, America didn't shoot Hitler. Second of all, the Germans did not all go see the same movie together! And you know what is great about the people who see/don't see the film and give those responses? I know who the fuck to stay away from! Thanks for pointing yourselves out, dickheads! Now I can avoid you!

[editline]06:53PM[/editline]
yeah that was me, original thread title was Inglorious Bastards so I edited it
I actually took a closer look at the film info, its original title is Inglourious Basterds. The original title is in German, and what the movie had to do about titles, earning them and whatnot, the title makes sense.
i like the part where they killed the nazis
In order news, the woman in this movie were attractive.
