3 I counted
Saw this a week or so ago. Not Tarantino's best, but still very good. The pacing was neat too- the wway characters are killed off gives the whole movie a sort of "finale" feel.
Action sequences were great especially the bar rendezvous with Hammersmark. Though, the only downside was the fact that those scenes were too quick (except the showdown at the theatre)
The other problem was the plot, the fact that it was divided into chapters allowed QT set up for the big finale in the theatre but it chopped up the progression of things. You couldn't tell exactly when things were taking place( ie. Ch. 2 Where lt. Raine was briefing his men about the mission to France(presumably in America) and then right after, cutting to Hitler complaining about them. (obviously after their deployment)
Other than that I thought it was pretty funny
Conna beats up Nazi's if you bring him back
Saw this over the weekend. Brilliant movie.
Saw this film yesterday, and I was pleasently surprised. :D
i like the part where they killed the nazis
fuck you spoiled the movie for me
i was very surprised that [sp]shoshana died in fact i felt a tear well up but quickly dismissed it[/sp]
[sp] I wanted Zoller to survive. Even though he is shown to have killed many men, he appears to show remorse for it when he watches the movie. Through this remorse, he is forced to leave the theater, and possibly make a move on Shoshana. Then she shot him, I was like "God dammit, first Hugo, now this?!". But at least I got retribution when he shot Shoshana.[/sp]
good-o correct-o

Im gunna see it tonight
My brother rang me and said "Inglorious Basterds is mint!" so I assume it is really good and want to see it so badly!

Your brain sucks how can you survive daily chores without killing yourself stupidly.
Mindless fun, that's what it was suppose to be.
I actually took a closer look at the film info, its original title is Inglourious Basterds.
The original title is in German, and what the movie had to do about titles, earning them and whatnot, the title makes sense.
what are you talking about?
years ago while in development it was called inglorious bastards. but it's been inglourious basterds for a while now, presumably because brad pitt's character is illiterate, and has 'INGLOURIOUS BASTARDS' written on his rifle stock
When asked about the misspelled title, director Quentin Tarantino gave the following answer: "Here's the thing. I'm never going to explain that. You do an artistic flourish like that, and to explain it would just take the piss out of it and invalidate the whole stroke in the first place."
^ It's not just like this for the poster, if you look in the movie, it's actually there on his rifle.
I think people would rather accept a bullshit answer than being asked to think about it on their own.
I think it might be a pretty good movie. Give it a chance.
I saw the film yesterday.
I know what Tarantino is like when it comes to his movies and I've seen Pulp Fiction, so I was expecting crazy... but by God it exceeded expectations. It took my expectations and beat them to death with a baseball bat. There were times when me and my mate couldn't stop laughing... although we probably shouldn't have been laughing at all. But that's what the film does to you! It makes you unsure what the hell to think; a lot of it is just plain awkward.
I'm inclined to say it was an amazing film, because it was, but I guess if you're a massive pacifist or something you'll really, really despise it.

I'm keeping this as my MSN picture until either:
A. A jew complains (I've got a couple on MSN, nothing against them)
OR
B. My girl does
Both are highly unlikely, the latter is dying to see this movie. :D

Saw the movie yesterday. It was loooooong. There was a lot of talking, build-up to bring all the characters together in the final scene, but seriously? The Basterds didn't get enough screentime, and there wasn't enough Natzee killin'.
How do I buy tickets for this
