the bear jewwwwwwwww best part of the movie
what are you talking about? years ago while in development it was called inglorious bastards. but it's been inglourious basterds for a while now, presumably because brad pitt's character is illiterate, and has 'INGLOURIOUS BASTARDS' written on his rifle stock [editline]05:03PM[/editline] ^ It's not just like this for the poster, if you look in the movie, it's actually there on his rifle.
Thunk for yourself.
[sp] I wanted Zoller to survive. Even though he is shown to have killed many men, he appears to show remorse for it when he watches the movie. Through this remorse, he is forced to leave the theater, and possibly make a move on Shoshana. Then she shot him, I was like "God dammit, first Hugo, now this?!". But at least I got retribution when he shot Shoshana.[/sp]
[sp]When she shot him I was like "You... shot him?! All he wanted was-" and then he shot her. Hitler getting shot 200 times was also hilarious.[/sp]
I'm sure Basterds is put in there, as for a alternate timeline thing.

He'd probably have raped her if she hadn't pretended to just be like 'ok close the door'. And he'd probably have KILLED her if he'd know she was Jewish. How can you have sympathy for the prick?[/sp]

thanks rusty
The (English) version of the movie I have has no subtitle track. I speak German natively and understand English well, but speak barely any French. Do you think the movie is enjoyable when you barely understand the French language? How much French is there in the movie, in comparison to English and German? Will I be alright?
There is a lot of French.
And...? Will I be alright?
Anyone? :(
Anyone? :(
i'd have to say that Inglorious Basterds is the best comedy/war flick of the year. Brad Pitt is great in that movie!
I'm not sure who played Hans Lander, and I'm too lazy to check, but he was fantastic in this movie. Brad Pitt didn't make me rage, and in fact, was fantastic in this movie. Did anyone else think his Southern accent speaking Italian was hilarious? And I think that farmer from the beginning should've kicked some NAWZY ASS at some point.

When it was shown at Cannes everyone talked about him, he's all over the papers, will maybe get an Oscar and has a very bright future in front of him. He's actually the main reason I want to watch the movie. [editline]10:27PM[/editline] Also, could somebody answer my question pl0x

I saw this yesterday on the cinema, I was a bit dissapointed, because I thought it would be more killing nazi's then it was, but except that It was AWESoMe.
I took a little peak and decided that I definitely need subtitles. Now to find a subtitles file... If someone has one I'd be very thankful, PM me please
I know I'm late, and I realize this is a week bump, and I sincerely apologize, however, I just saw this movie, and, being a tarrantino fan, I had to say my piece. I was, while enjoying myself throughout, feeling a little underwhelmed for the first third, especially having seen pulp fiction and reservoir dogs very recently. But as the last third approached it's climax, I realized that the movie had, almost stealthily, turned into a real masterpiece. I found myself completely without bearing, truly wondering what was going to happen next, while simultaneously realizing that it is a very rare thing to actually be unsure of an ending. I realized that in almost every movie I've ever seen, I knew the ending from the mile away, and that right now, I was as mystified as a movie had ever made me, and completely enthralled. The reason I leave out the second third is because it was the last third that woke me up from my unimpressed stupor and realize that the movie had really picked up speed in the 2 third, and was now continuing at a almost unimaginable pace. All in all, another great movie. However, I wouldn't compare it in league with either pulp fiction or reservoir dogs, the latter of which is probably my favorite film of all time. I say "probably" because it's still too soon to make that claim fully. You can't tell, but I'm writing in a completely different voice than usual. Reading "V For Vendetta" had this effect on me too...
Good god, the theater scene was one of the most well done scenes of all time in my book. The movie was very, very different from what the trailer made it out to be, in a very amazing way. To be honest, it went from a generic comedy to an amazing movie without me even noticing.
It was awesome! I thought District 9 was going to be the best movie on cinema for a couple of months, but it didn't even last a week.
Just watched it and I have to admit, that
It was awesome!
I really liked that the French people really spoke French and the German people really spoke French. Not like Tom Cruise in Valkyrie, speaking English with ridicolous German accent.
fuck i want to see this
It not that good.
It not that good.
Your opinion is wrong
