Basterds.
I know what I did there.
Wrong.
Also fixed.
Inglourious.
Also I didn't particularly like it, at all.
Wrong.
Also fucked.
Edit war. Now where did that topic go to when it said Inglorious Bastards to post in?. Oh were here.
Might go see it, but sad, if I go by myself. ugh.
About to go see it, I've heard good things. Will report back.
It's definitely worth seeing.
I can't wait to see too!
Looks like a stupid movie . But anyway ,fp seems to love it.
Fuck that was an awesome movie.
Shit yah!
It's fucking hilarious :D
I saw the movie, I really didn't like it.

How come? I have heard nothing but good comments so far, and I actually want to hear the opion of some who doesn't.
Fuck, I can't wait.
I hope I can get in though - I'm only 15 and it's been rated 18 in the UK. Then again, I doubt my little shithole town's cinema is really going to care.
Eh, doesn't look very good. Has that historically inaccurate American bias that plagues most WW movies.
The acting was excellent, for the most parts.
The only thing I found odd were the basterds. They looked like a caricature comparing to the rest of the characters (although also all the famous real nazis were pretty much a caricature).
Otherwise, for being a WWII spaghetti western, it delivers, but it's not that action packed than it looks from the trailer/marketing. It is very dialogue heavy (pretty much like all Tarantino movies), but it is entertaining, even when the pacing suffers at some scenes.
I recommend it
did you know the aussies and the kiwis fought in vietnam? you'd never have guessed
Didnt we just sit back with our artillery guns and do fuck all?
God, I was creeped out whenever a [sp]Nazi general would just sit down with the characters and talk and be all friendly, but by the look of his face he was trying to dig into their secrets? It was almost scary. You kept feeling they would get caught, and most of the time they did.[/sp]
Also, that is a BINGO!
This is good news, since if my uncle is coming here tomorrow, and my dad way down in Brisbane for another day, and coming back tomorrow night, then we both might see this one. Depends on his tastes. But he would see this one instead of District 9. And again, he does have kids, and a girlfriend, so if I suffer from some kid's movie, it's my own fault.

Tarantino is ace at making films that envolve lots of drama, its great. But with Inglorious Basterds, when watching the trailer, it really did seem like it was going to have lots of action in killing nazis. So I had different and high expectatins for this movie, and it basically didn't turn out the way I expected it to be.
It's a Plan and Achieve type of movie. They plot something, and wait till the end.
I'm not saying its a horrible movie, I'm glad everyone loved it. But it was a let down for me, that's all.
Then again, it might Caroline. I forgot it. As I'm sure if my uncle brings kids, then they'll love Caroline. Again, it might have scary themes. Inglorious Bastards is way more awesome from what I'm told.
[sp]The most surprising part for me was when the Private shot the person he loved, especially given the music they were playing in the background.[/sp]
I'm back. It was amazing. A++, my favourite Tarintino film to date.
I was comical, it was heart wrenching, and it had my heart beating like a motherfucker. Intense.
Also Brad Pitt didn't annoy me as much as I thought he would from the trailer. In fact he was quite good. I'm a fan of Brad so I had hoped as much. Eli Roth was fantastic.
God damn that was a good movie.
And if you didn't enjoy it as much as me well then you are wrong thanks for playing

Hence the reason it's set in an alterntative timeline. Go get a British director to make a movie about the British taking Iwo Jima if it makes you feel better.
i want to see this
Saw it yesterday. It was really amazing, I loved all the dialog. Tarentino is amazing at crafting superb concersations. I can't say I have any complaints at all. I loved when Brad Pitt (what's his character name? I forgot like EVERYONE'S name D: ) tried speaking Italian.

I would have to truly say that this was one of my least favorite Tarantino movies. Better than Grindhouse and Death Proof, but nowhere near the caliber of Kill Bill, Res. Dogs, and Pulp Fiction.
Some parts were extremely drawn out, such as the very first scene on the dairy farm, and some parts/characters were wholly unnecessary (the British agent and the scene with his CO's).
The Basterds weren't featured enough, in my opinion. I thought they would get much more screen time, to be honest. In a way it almost seemed as if they were secondary characters, especially considering you only seem them all together once or twice.
It was good though. It had Tarantino's classic back-and-forth dialogues, it had more than a few mexican standoffs, and the action was good for the most part. The alternate history really surprised me until I remembered it was a Tarantino movie and then I smiled.
In all, good movie, not his best. I'd give it a B-

I loved Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. I liked Pulp Fiction more than Kill Bill, and I liked Reservoir Dogs more than Pulp Fiction. I enjoyed this more than all of them.
It is supposed to be spelt Basterds, so don't be idiots and be all like
Thanks for that. You Basterds.
