he whole point of the movie, i thought, especially emphasized by [sp]the scene where Donnie bats in the guy who won the cross for bravery[/sp] and [sp]where the ghostly projection of Shosana's laughter overlooks the poor Nazis (odd as that may sound) running in literally an oven[/sp] was that, given an opportunity, [sp]anyone with the power to kill hundreds of people that they hate the most will take it, and they will enjoy it, making the Jews, who had for so long suffered, no better than the Nazis they hated most.[/sp]
Are you kidding me? Like seriously? They're all Jewish, the "innocent" soldiers would be slaughtering them.
Well that was fast.
He was pretty awful to be honest
Well, okay. Then: Quentin Tarantino!
Quentin Tarantino is one of the best directors everrerr
Ha, hahaha... HAH
Ha, hahaha... HAH
Hahaha, hahaha ha- :geno: You're so wrong
This looks awesome. I'm german and i'd love to see it. My grandpa fought in WWI, but left when WWII was about to start. He knew that killing people because of race was a stupid idea. He was a smart german.
Do your duty and die for your kaiser, it is an honor to die for the fatherland.
Are you kidding me? Like seriously? They're all Jewish, the "innocent" soldiers would be slaughtering them.
The SS, not the Wehrmact. The Wehrmacht were just normal soldiers. The SS were nazis.
Brad Pitt fucks up every accent he's ever tried to do. But this movie looks good.
Brad Pitt messes up everything.
Brad Pitt messes up everything.
i actually thought he was pretty good however christopher waltz did a much better job with his role
however christopher waltz did a much better job with his role
Waltz will win an Academy Award for supporting male. His character is so reminiscent of Javier Bardeem's Character in No Country For Old Men, that it is no contest at this point. Also he surpassed all winners in the past 2-5 years by miles.
Hahaha, hahaha ha- :geno: You're so wrong
Ridley Scott James Cameron Martin Scorcese Francis Ford Coppola All better directors than edgefag quentin tarantino, who decided to do Pulp Fiction during WW2.
Going to see this tonight, hear its damn good.
Do any of you know what a good movie is? How is Brad Pitt doing a horrible forrest gump impression directed by a blind egotistical faggot getting so much praise?
Do any of you know what a good movie is? How is Brad Pitt doing a horrible forrest gump impression directed by a blind egotistical faggot getting so much praise?
have you even seen the movie because this looks like a fine example of a stupid, uninformed post.
have you even seen the movie
I stopped watching it online once Brad Pitt said the word airplanes "araplanes". Have you seen the movie Casablanca? Now that is WW2 movie done right.
Are you kidding me? Like seriously? Women not even in a uniform, even older women. They had long crossed the line where they were getting payback against Nazis, or trying to scare or intimidate Nazis. They were just on a killing rampage, with Nazis as the excuse.[/sp]
I stopped watching it online once Brad Pitt said the word airplanes "araplanes". WW2 is a overdone cashcow genre thats lasted decades, seeing any WW2 movie now is unbearable because the history of WW2 has been beated off onto our heads since we were young.
Thats a retarded message. You would have to be some kind of amoral edgy faggot to shoot women in the back just because you have power. QT fails at making movies once more.
[sp]Let's not forget she was a spy, a spy who shot a defenseless father for the simple reason of wanting to.[/sp]
i forgot about that. but the [sp]jew hunter[/sp] didn't know that. [editline]01:01PM[/editline] also if you don't want to see the film don't see it simple as that. arguing about it on an internet forum won't change critical reception/anyones opinion.
But it makes me sad that you enjoy eating human feces.
The film isnt about WW2 its about human nature and the usage of power. WW2 is simply the best backdrop available to make such a film.
A lot of you guys are missing the point of the movie. This is a 'spaghetti western' but with WWII as the setting, it is not politically correct and it's not trying to be. Of course everybody shoots at everyone, regardless if they are defenseless or not. It's the nature of that genre.
Holyshit I just realized Tarantino didn't have a role for himself in the movie. Damn. Unless he did and I was blind?
Holyshit I just realized Tarantino didn't have a role for himself in the movie. Damn. Unless he did and I was blind?
He was there, but behind the camera the whole time.
Quentin is the best! I wait this movie for a long time. 27/8 date of premiere in Argentina.
Quentin is the best! I wait this movie for a long time. 27/8 date of premiere in Argentina.
Deathproof had a budget of 50 mil, it made 20 mil. Quentin directed it.
This numbers say nothing. That is because retarded people who do not know how to appreciate a masterpiece. The end of Death Proof is great, surprise and unique. The soundtracks are brilliants.
Deathproof had a budget of 50 mil, it made 20 mil. Quentin directed it.
Well it sounds like you have a stick up your ass.
