I unfortunately missed these guys in the blackdiamondskye tour (with deftones and alice in chains) because my ride got us there late, didn't show up till halfway through deftones and AIC played after them
Pretty good band

Oh thank god, we cool
I like trilobyte, I can't point out bad songs myself.
Trilobite's awesome. The only mehstodon songs are in the Jonah Hex EP.
I've been giving them some listens lately. I gotta admit, I found it very boring to listen to. :(
They seem to technically be very good at playing their instruments, but that's about it. The playing just doesn't seem to have enough...depth?...to it. I really suck at explaining shit like this. Oh and I find their vocals very weak too.

Listen to the whole leviathan album. It's what got me into them.

I listened to that one already.

good god what
crack the skye is deeper than the marianas trench
Pretty much everything they've done is denser and deeper than a lot of music kicking about these days
i hope the next album contains a lot of the riffs and such from the original jonah hex soundtrack, i really want to hear what brent considers the best shit he has ever written

I can't really explain why I started loving them. Something just clicked. Same thing with Converge.
That's how it happened when I first heard Leviathan. At first I was like, eh pretty good, but the more I listened to it the more awesome it became.
I instantly fell in love with Crack the Skye, the other albums (especially Leviathan) took some getting used to, except the song Blood and Thunder, that was awesome from the start.

Yeah thats pretty much how it went for me. I was really into Crack the Skye from the moment I heard it.
It actually took me a few listens to get into crack the skye.

Even I can make something that's deeper than most popular music these days.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure my sister can sing deeper than Justin Bieber...
bdum tsh!
I can only listen to crack the skye probably once a month at most just because it's so depressing

You think so? I can't help but listen to it so often. I love music where the musicians absolutely pour their souls out. It's amazing to listen to brent shred on the last baron.
haha
sorry but way to bold out a misspelled word
[editline]3rd November 2010[/editline]
but yeah
I get really attached to the music and it just brings me down
not saying it's bad by any means I just can't take it :v:
