Oh boy, where do I start: In general, a lot of the culture/sub-culture you see on Facebook and Instagram; the "bae", "bruh", "cuh", "niggas be like...", "bitches be like...", "when... ...you like", etc. and stuff about "side bitches". I'm not sure if there's any politically correct distinction for it. I mean, are people actually like this? Say ridiculous things like that in public and treat people the way they display in their statuses? I find it very disappointing. Likewise, there's the 'Gym-Freak Sub-culture' where people post pictures of themselves at the gym, lifting ("Do you even lift bro?") and talking about protein shakes. Mainly, this is because I'm surrounded by it every day in the military. Or when people try to make some deep philosophical, political, or inspiring message that is littered with basic grammatical or spelling errors. And finally, posts that talk about how "depressed" or "in pain" the anonymous 'she' always is on the inside but is overall perfect on the outside. Using memes to 'express themselves anonymously' (Socially awkward/awesome penguin and that sad bear thing). Or just the general use of memes to explain peoples life (as well as memes used outside of the internet "Deez nuts/ got eem"). To this day I wonder why I still go on Facebook.
If it came from Vine; flush it down one more time. Worlds like 'bae', or phrases like 'deez nuts', illicit only revulsion from me. Oh, and Stephen Colbert's comedy - although certainly at times amusing - shouldn't be heralded as 'daring' or 'groundbreaking'. He's often pretty unambitious with his targets, and the circle-jerk should come to terms with that.
its boring and it leads to really shallow characters with no interesting lore but people eat this shit up like candy if youre going to make them hella stacked and hella mom actually make them into something that you can write more than a single paragraph about without pulling shit out of your ass
Saggy jeans is dumb though. Nobody cares what underwear you are wearing. Also unsure if it is just a rumor old white people started or some shit, but I once heard apparently it started to show who was open to getting fucked in the ass in prison.
That's not true, it started in prisons because they a lot of the prison uniforms didn't fit the prisoners
Leg fedoras
My cargo pants that zip off into cargo shorts, my reddit meme shirt and my black and white checkered vans! I'm ready for anything!!!

Blasting rock music out of your headphones on the bus.

I'm not really sure where you could be seeing this.
Why are people talking about saggy pants here as if they're a current trend That was trendy like 10 years ago, not now [editline]31st July 2015[/editline]
Also, here comes the kicker: "Don't forget to subscribe, hit the like button, share it with all your friends, we're going for 2 million likes, thanks a lot guys it really helps". Honestly, shut up. If people like your video, they'll show that by pressing the button. DON'T beg for it.
YouTube recommends reminding people about liking, sharing, commenting the videos to help out if they liked them because people forget otherwise and it's really effective
check out my Sperry's fam
Sperries look great and they're comfortable as fuck if you live in warmer climates, I have absolutely zero problem with their popularity PFG shirts can go fuck themselves however, they look like horse shit
I despise Sprerries tbh
Do you have any reason other than "they're popular"
I don't like how they look, I've seen like 3 people ever wear them IRL so it's not that they're popular
I guess it boils down to personal preference then. The biggest kicker for me is that they're comfortable and easy to slip on, the looks are sort of secondary but I still think they look great
I think with the right outfits they can look OK, but it's more the preppy style and I don't really like the preppy style all that much personally. I'm sure they're comfy though
Do you have any reason other than "they're popular"
The fact that they're the ugliest god damn shoes someone on planet earth has ever placed on their feet The amount of times I've seen dress shoes replaced with sperries for prom is ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL [editline]31st July 2015[/editline]
I guess it boils down to personal preference then. Sperry's are comfy.
i hate how people obsess over shoes nowadays like ffs, why the hell do you care if i wear brand 1 or brand 2, they're both the same, do the same purpose, but look slightly different

I gotta say I'm not a huge fan of the new trend of making every single thing a gender/racial issue and somehow offensive the moment it comes into the public eye, even if it's completely unrelated - all for clicks.
Do you have any examples? I'm not really sure where you could be seeing this.
It's mostly a Tumblr thing, so I understand if people didn't see it around. Cassie's Implant Mom and Plant Mom. ShamefulDisplay, to test my post, made "Softball Mom" as a joke, and it pretty much worked as we anticipated. Two of my friends have Pear Mom and Business Mom. The second one was a request from the public to make a mom character, and he submitted. Probably a lot more, but those are best examples off the top of my head.

People who blast music from their car to the point that I can hear it from my room on the second floor. It's almost always hip hop music and the same can be said when I'm working at the library where I hear music blasting from headphones in the work area. It's obnoxious and whoever knowingly does it is an ass.
that seems like its just one of those monthly tumblr fads aka not something to really care about
I understand, but as someone who tries to fully flesh out a character's design and role in a story it pains me to see characters that are as interesting as watching paint dry.

Referencing to Wealth and Imp's posts, why are people calling buckskin slippers sprerrys? The name sounds so awkward and unfitting. Just call them what they are, buckskin/hide slippers or whatever the Inuits call their elk shoes.
Usually people call 'em boat shoes because that's what they were designed for, but I guess that works too. Sperry is just the most popular brand.
