Way too dedicated soccer fans. Or any sport. Just don't beat up people just because the team you were rooting for lost.
Oh fuck tell that to people here, whenever there's hockey everyone goes apeshit. Like common, it's just fucking hockey. [editline]3rd August 2015[/editline] Wait, why is it showing me living in the US? I'm from Canada..... Must be my work computer.
I don't understand going all crazy for sports either. Sure, play it as exercise or hobby but why do you need the competitiveness of it?
I passionately love glasses and I feel almost betrayed when someone I know switches to contacts.
Glasses are life fuck those who don't want to embrace their fashionable eye wear. (Though I also feel the same with people who do wear glasses but wear ones that don't work with their face at all I mean like you have to wear these for a few years everyday usually why do you not care what they look like.)
People saying sports are dumb and judging me for liking sports is a trend I hate

Sure, play it for fun or a hobby but why do you need the competitiveness of it?" That's just silly. How can you seriously ask why sports are competitive.
People who Shit on others hobbies in general. "Oh you think I am wasting my money because fox news said so,tell me where that 6pack of beer every day is getting you"
What I meant to say was, why do we need all of this NFL NBA stuff? Why do we throw money at buff guys to throw a ball around?
Yeah I know right? Everybody can do it! It's so easy to be a professional athlete! I'm sure the prime example of a perfect athletic specimen who'd put Jordan and Messi to shame in their respective sports
Yeah I know right? Everybody can do it! It's so easy to be a professional athlete! Whatever, I don't have time to argue about something when you guys are going to try to contradict me.
You're completely missing the point. Whatever, I don't have time to argue about something when you guys are going to try to contradict me.
OK then, let's start over. What's your point?
OK then, let's start over. What's your point?
I'm saying I don't understand the trend of professional sports/gaming. What makes it so interesting other than watching people play a sport or smash keys while they yell at each other? How does this even impact society, other than economical reasons?

Well my point was that people tend to get over-excited about sports. Your team won? Got flip cars and break windows and shit Your team lost, do the same thing, but times 2. Root for the other team? Get beat up THAT'S dumb. Not sports in general Like common, was that hard to grasp?
You're acting like sports riots happen everyday though
Riots no. That an extreme that's not common. But people still get over-excited as fuck here. If you go to a bar during a hockey match on TV, good luck surviving the night with your eardrums intact. People will shout all the time and even start brawls sometimes. They act like fucking monkeys
it's called having fun(minus the brawling)
Maybe for you, but obnoxious for everyone else around. And yes, I think it's a trend and yes I despise it. Hence why I posted that on this thread.
Maybe for you, but obnoxious for everyone else around. And yes, I think it's a trend and yes I despise it. That's why people go to sport's bars Also it's not a trend, it's been happening for decades

All bars have TVs that show a hockey match. and there's one every 2 days. What the fuck am i supposed to do?
because it's in all bars ever. All bars have TVs that show a hockey match. and there's one every 2 days. What the fuck am i supposed to do?
Drink at home, I dunno? We don't have congested sports schedules over here
Drink at home, I dunno? We don't have congested sports schedules over here
Over here is not over where I live.
Over here is not over where I live.
why don't you just start shouting along with them

but it's not a trend
but I don't care Jeez, why are you white knighting so hard about this? I get it, you love this sort of shit. But I don't Fuck
if it's not a trend then don't post in a trend thread
Tell that to Firearrow and Elderlolz too then, I'm not the one who started all this. [editline]3rd August 2015[/editline] Here, I'll talk about a trend so you can be happy: Anti-vaxxers. Hate them They endanger everyone by not vaxing their kids, and the most retarded thing is they probably got vaccinated for something years ago when they were young, but they never mention that because WOOPS they don't have autism.
I dislike a lot of trends nowadays, with the really destructive stuff bolded. Anti-vaxxers. The Kylie Jenner Challenge. Prank videos. Voter apathy. Sagging pants. Wearing Timberlands if you don't use them for working or hiking. People who don't take the sticker off their Snapback hat. Creationists. Giving kids under 12 tablets for their entertainment (play outside.) "Gourmet Foods" that cost $25+ a plate and don't make you feel full. Civil forfeiture. People who are famous for being famous. The "Free Agent" system in most professional sports driving costs up. The new car stereos that don't let me manually tune the radio, but instead let me click through different frequencies. Electric car windows - if I drive into a lake, I want to be able to roll down the window and get out. The TSA and the general malaise that the United States has experienced since 9/11.
Wearing Timberlands if you don't use them for working or hiking.
Why would you hate that, they're just boots like any other boot
Stop stepping in mud then? Your argument makes absolutely no sense.
I don't go around stomping in mud. I just live in a place where we actually have weather. Footwear are more of a tool than clothing.
