It's also a congregation of people shitposting at the speed of light at around 5000 posts in 2-4 days.
spot on
the garrys mod / source filmmaker communities
Before the Source subthreads were removed, there was a "Post your SFM Poster work here" thread. Everyone there had some sort of image that was heavily edited with PS or GIMP. Nothing wrong with that, but when I got on there with some of my posters expecting critiques, I get a TON of dumb/funny ratings and no insightful comments on how to improve. Hated the thread, everyone was a snob that gave you shit ratings for not being their level or better. So in hindsight, I hate it when top artists give other works shit for not being up to their standards.
Nope, maybe I'll try them. My biggest gripe is that I always feel like earbuds will fall out. I am borrowing earbuds from someone else at the moment.
These don't, they are angled sort of so they fit right in your ear canal and on your ear itself. I've never had them fall out.
It's also a congregation of people shitposting at the speed of light at around 5000 posts in 2-4 days.
if you don't like it, don't go there.
if you don't like it, don't go there.
I'm sorry, was I meant to be serious? I don't even go to WAYT anyways.
Hipsters. Mainly because people started calling me one after they become popular. Just because I drink fancy coffee, wear flannel, collect records and have a beard does not make me a hipster. Also, people who complain about trends. We're not crotchety old men yet.
But I don't really think it's a "trend" so much as just a thing people do. When people blast like, EDM and all I hear is TSS TSS TSS TSS TSS from the hihats and shit, that's annoying. No depth to the muffled shit flying out of somebody's earholes
Surprise: That's how everyone experiences anyone's overly loud music played through (often shit) headphones/earphones. Such people are always experienced as annoying and obnoxious, regardless of the genre.
No one wants to hear the garbled mess that phone speakers and earbuds turn music into when they are on fullblast doesn't matter what genre or artist it sounds like crap from half a bus away. The whole reason for headphones and earbuds is AI you can enjoy your music without disturbing others .
Candy Crush Why the fuck is this a thing? Why is it so popular?
Thats popular? I thought that game's popularity died a long time ago.
The trend of action movies adopting a ridiculous aspect ratio like 2.35:1
How is this a new thing? that aspect ratio has been around for decades and decades.
These probably 20 years from now will be the kind of thing everybody makes fun of. These haircuts are the exact opposite of timeless and look pretty dumb imo.
I think they look extremely good on a person. [editline]8th August 2015[/editline] I can't understand why people hate that hairstyle. It looks slick and classy and works well with dresses and shirts and that hairstyle is a super cool casual style for when you decide to just use a t-shirt and some sweet jeans. Most of the people i meet and know have some form of that hairstyle, not everybody of course but i think it's more a normal haircut nowadays. Are people jealous because some people can pull it off or something?
You sound like somebody in the 80s trying to justify having a mullet.
The mullet looked okay if you had the jean jacket and transam to go along with it.
The mullet looked okay if you had the jean jacket and transam to go along with it.
It only looked okay if you were Kurt Russel.
when joke reviews are voted the most helpful in a steam game (or any review site for tht matter) i want to learn if the game is good but all you get it "you can kill le aliens XDDDDDDDDDDD 10/10" with 5000 likes
There was some woman a few weeks ago (the "lemme speak to your manager" type) who got on the bus and immediately started a phone convo. She didn't get a call, she went out of her way to call someone on a loud-as-hell bus. Then, because she couldn't hear the other person, she put the call up on speaker and held it to her ear. I don't honestly know how they heard her talking. Anyways, bus driver got quite angry with her after she ignored two triggered PA recording prompts about keeping cell phone convos quiet and kept on talking. Told her she'd be kicked off the bus if she continued, so she ended the call (under protest) and immediately started blaring the exact sort of music you're talking about through her headphones loud enough that the driver could hear it. She got kicked off at the next stop. I thanked the driver profusely when I got off. We're on good terms now and chat daily. So no, don't do that shit. Nobody cares. Turn it down or turn it off.
There's a difference between being a music lover who blasts crunchy* rock (again, within reason. Wouldn't do it right next to somebody) and being some bitch who is purposely disrupting the entire bus. You can't hear me blast my music from a couple seats away, my headphones don't bleed very much [editline]8th August 2015[/editline] But no, I'm not going to sacrifice my love of loud rock music because someone "might" not want to hear it. If it bugs you, speak up and I'll turn it down, which I've done, because I don't want to be a bother. Until then, too bad, I blast it. Your silence is confirmation that you either don't hear it or don't mind [editline]8th August 2015[/editline] also Kashmir isn't that great of a song

So obviously I was not a bother."
I read that entirely wrong :v [editline]8th August 2015[/editline] ***
No one wants to ask someone not to do something in public anymore because you are likely to get beat up while everyone either videos it with their phone or just watches. So how about not be a dick and not do something that annoys others and they even govas far as taking up ad spaces in buses to ask you not to do. Here is an actual trend that pisses me off if there is a fight or car crash why do people not step in to break it up or stop to help. From what I hear from my parents people used to.
Man, what a pessimistic worldview :/ you don't trust your fellow human enough to do something as simple as asking them to turn down their music? I mean if they're a big ass gangster, scowling at everybody and putting off bad vibes, obviously you wouldn't want to step on their toes.. but other, more "normal" seeming people? The world isn't that dangerous
I have asked two people to turn down their music both looked normal both got explosivly angry one even made threats ,so ya I keep my mouth shut because last thing I need is to get beaten or stabbed.
Dang, I've done that a few times and had positive results, that's kinda freaky :/ where do you live? I mean I know it's in Van but like, what part? [editline]8th August 2015[/editline] Even so, yesterday on Granville I asked a buff dude wearing a gangster ass tanktop, sunglasses, big flashy shoes and shit (and a fucking TOP KNOTTTTTTT) if he would please move away from the bus stop while he smoked, because there were like 10 of us there and he said "oh okay, sorry man" and moved on. Confidence helps, and being in a crowd does too :v
Most of the shit I hate comes from Battlefield, so I might as well just drop the entire list here and now; -Spawn invincibility that's applied to places that are not the main base -People who bitch when something that was once useless in the past now becomes somewhat usable -Dumbass teammates in general -Sensitive as hell ping-kick servers i.e sudden 400 ping spike for half a second = kick -Sick special Nvidia/AMD/Intel/insert special FX™ that are intrusive and serve nothing in terms of gameplay -Lack of audible footsteps in today's online FPS games that are not CSGO -Servers that limit certain gameplay elements i.e no AA launchers/shotgun servers -Game devs who come up with bullshit excuses as to why their games are not moddable in order to sell some of dat sweet DLC™ Moneys™
One heading to metrotown other time was on the millenium line ,I live in Langley but I take train time to time since driving in the city sucks. I am just unlucky I guess car has been broken into 4 times 3 in rural Alberta once in the "secured" parking garage of my apartment building no valuables in sight.Had 1500$ in tools dissapear the day I took of work, roomate set my house on fire ,got assualted pretty bad by a neighbor a few weeks back when I went to check on a noise in the stairwell, maybe a bit pessimistic but its not exactly unfounded the world has been less than kind considering all that and morechsppened just in the last two years.
Yeah bud, I think you're just a little unlucky lately :T That said, I was too a few years back, somehow got out. I'd give you a hug and be there but I know how I stand with your crowd
My crowd? [editline]8th August 2015[/editline] I mean unless you run around breaking into cars setting houses on fire and beating the Shit out of people I doubt AI would have much issue with you.
Nope, maybe I'll try them. My biggest gripe is that I always feel like earbuds will fall out. I am borrowing earbuds from someone else at the moment.
I know this is a bit late but you should look into getting some double/triple flange buds, I have a pair from etymotic reserch that sound fantastic and when you put in triple flange in the right way, mutes almost all outside noises when you have music going, even quietly.
You sound like somebody in the 80s trying to justify having a mullet.
Not really. It's a really slick hairstyle, it takes a bit to maintain it and it looks good on people. A mullet is just fucked up. You can't compare this with this I mean come on dude. [editline]9th August 2015[/editline]
The mullet looked okay if you had the jean jacket and transam to go along with it.
So you're comparing a suit/shirt and casual t-shirt and jeans which everybody wears with a jean jacket and transam look lmao?
The trend that every kid must have a phone
