What popular trends do you despise in every way, shape or form?

youtube fame and stardom, Im on a media course and i think me and a couple others are the only ones that want to go onto a media career whereas the 80% of the others all want to go onto a youtube career since they love youtubers such as pewdiepie and that, thinking they can easily make money from it all.
The trend of no longer having cheat codes, but instead shoving DLCs that do just that but cost money into the game.
worst part is sometimes its kinda gimmicky like
"yeah our older games had these as cheats, we are now bringing it back as a DLC BECAUSE IT WAS A THING YOU KNOW, REMEMBER RIGHT HAHA!"
snip didnt read
G-SHOCK watches.

A lot of my friends bought these watches with all kinds of colors and were competing how much price each other spent on their watches
Also there's a trend in my country among students to wear tight pants when you're wearing your uniform or a suit.
This piece of shit art movement that can be found everywhere, it's fucking disgusting and lazy.
idk how to describe it, so i made a mockup of it on MSPaint
Gangsta my ass rap with kids talking about bitches & money and what life really is. And pop music with the same fucking content of romantic interests and shit I don't care about. Songs that are repetetive as a broken vinyl player in clubs with the same dramatic effects and mix downs applied, same vengeance drum samples used, and all this shit is on the radio. This is why I don't listen to this mass media fad machine.
Yeah? As opposed to what? metal where we have the exact same breakdowns and cringy lyrics that would make "not important" from Hatred proud?
Every genre has generic styled music, it's not exclusive to rap, pop, EDM or whatever.
I mean, I don't personally enjoy rap or pop but I'm not going to pretend it's because I have some superior musical taste than the "mass media fad machine".

Annoying music like this that you hear in almost every single commercial
How all music on the radio sounds the same
One song comes out everyone spams it like hell and then for the next 4 months every new song is the same, then another slightly different songs comes and it all changes slightly for the next couple months
This thing is kinda old but shows what I mean perfectly

My local rock station still spams ACDC, Foo Fighters, Green Day, and Linkin Park. Like shit, there is tons of new music out there. If you tuned in 10 years ago or today, it would sound the same.

Yes
I think NiceGuys™ is going a bit overboard.
Grown up dudes are still trying to use the dating tips given by HowCast, then they cuss the girl out for rejecting them. Later on facebook you read how he talks about "Oh I'm the perfect gentleman, I don't smoke, I don't drink, I play vidya day to day, I will love you forever, but I pretend not to want sex with you, because women are totally asexual. Hit me up ladieessz ;^))"
Skinny jeans
Legit it's difficult for me to find jeans now that aren't skinny jeans and that aren't less than $80.
So I just stick to cargos like a total fuckin' loser but hey at least i have pants on.
I'm not sure that's a trend, or just guys not knowing how to be confident in themselves
Skinny jeans
they're so comfortable though
they're so comfortable though
and a great health hazzard
they're so comfortable though
No, they really are not.
Have you ever worn jeans that are not tight? The freedom and the air is a pleasure, i don't want people to be able to see my whole manhood when i sit down, i'd also not like to be castrated when sitting. And they do not cater to people with beefy thighs and calves
trends quote
Generic music isn't a trend mate. It has always been there and always will be. Music getting played on the radio isn't a trend either because surprise surprise, radio stations usually pick specific genres to play to attract certain crowds of listeners. Radio stations also usually have to play more generic music because more people are going to be willing to listen to it than technical-black-anarchist-fusion-sludge metal.

So because you find them uncomfortable they're uncomfortable as a whole?

1. It's like the difference between boxer briefs and boxers. Sometimes my ass just needs the support of having denim clutch it
2. Men's skinny jeans have plenty of crotch space if you don't wear them too high
3. I can see how the last one is a problem, I'm a pretty skinny guy so it's just comfortable for me
Selfies. Very obnoxious. I feel like I can't take a picture of me and my friends to remember a WORTHWILE event without looking like a dweeb who is going to immediately post it to a million social sites. Which I don't. When I take a picture its to have a memory since I rarely take pictures.

Fuck I wear women's high waist skinny jeans, wearing them as intended, and there is room for man bits. I never get why people complain about the crotch area of slim to skinny jeans.
I have to wear skinny jeans because I have weird legs. I have very muscular but thin legs, like no thighs and ass but huge calves. Normal jeans make me look like a circus clown and skinny jeans look normal on me
worshipping Taylor Swift
it's not a trend, it's a lifestyle
I'm just going to put this out there, there is absolutely no way my man bits could fit into woman's clothes. I barely fit in men's boot cut jeans.

Well then, this is an awkward top post.
The trend of hyper simple logo design. I mean simplistic can be good if it's clever.
Here look at this

The pink shapes in the BR spell out 31, the number of flavors of icecream they advertise having. So while it's more simple it's also very clever and works well.
But then you got this shit

No I don't fucking care if each color of square represent each product you make. What the hell was wrong with the logo you had with XP to 7 or the one from 95 to ME? Those represented the same thing but were also unique. This is just 4 fucking squares. I could make this in 5 seconds in ms paint. At least when it had the flag shape it fucking looked like something.

yr just not trying hard enough bb <3. (But for real I've gotten to the point where if I'm not wearing tight enough clothing it feels very off in my groin area.)
