What popular trends do you despise in every way, shape or form?
What the fuck even is virgin radio lebabon anyway? All I see are facebook trash posts by them and I don't even know what they are.
I found their website and, to put it bluntly, it's the Lebanese branch of Virgin Radio. From them Virgin blokes all the way in the UK and what not.
Yet another Facebook rant
i keep seeing bunch of people sharing "le epik funny" stuff from absolutely unknown or crappy sources
example: one radio station which is listened by idk, 500-1000 people have a facebook page that has 500k likes, and what they do is post pictures taken from everywhere as long as they're viral or memes
My aunt found one of the many sources radio station Facebooks use and oh god my news feed is flooded with memes.
It is hard to see other posts when they are buried by those and what I'm pretty sure is my tech savvy grandparents making 'meme' (impact font caption) pictures where the joke is "Lake Erie has an algae problem" regardless of the actual image.
Not being able to discover cheat codes, secrets, and Easter eggs by yourself anymore because people have much easier methods of spoiling them nowadays. I don't mean stuff like GameFAQs or cheat sites like that; I'm talking about videos that blatantly give spoilers away or gaming journalism pieces talking about them.
It's a bit hard to explain, but basically you don't feel like you're discovering things on your own anymore since everybody else has done it. It's like "oh yeah, I remember read about that hidden room in Portal" and such.
This is why I hate talking to one of my friends about video games he just does not give a shit about spoiling things. Plots, easter eggs, cheats, etc. he'll spoil as casually as you would discussing game mechanics because he watches videos like that and assumes I do too.
I'm pretty sure he has Cave Story so I hope he doesn't find out I have it because I know he would ruin it for me.
Virgin radio Lebanon I guess, right ?
We have a analog here, called EXTRA FM
I'm probably alone on this, but vines. Most of them are annoying and stupid yet get referenced by every preteen out there and it gets on my nerves.
Hating trends

I've seen several Vines that aren't like that, like this one account involving Japanese owls as pets.

I've seen Vines that I actually find kinda funny. It's the ones like "DEEZ NUTZ HA GOTEM" that get repeated constantly that get on my nerves.

Any Yuppie area in general. People in the Upper Middle Class just rarely seem down to earth and realistic. They are always worried about stupid shit that doesn't matter and their whole life revolves around a pissing contest of "how much better/how much more shit I have".
My family is certainly not poor either, but I could never relate to these people.
What the fuck even is virgin radio lebabon anyway? All I see are facebook trash posts by them and I don't even know what they are.
:mystery:
Little entitled shits who got in trouble with the cops for doing something petty and stupid that now see fit to spurt "FUCK THA POLICE!!! FUCKING PIGS!!!" on social media all the fucking time.
The people that keep sharing weight loss story's, tips, and stuff like that. The worst thing is when they share those transformation pics that are clearly fake.
Don't really know if it counts as a trend, but people who go on holiday three hundred times a year seriously piss me off. This is probably worse since I go to a very prestigious school and most of the students' parents are ministers and lawyers with tons of money, but some of my classmates are already on their fifth holiday. At the end of July.
The le wrong generation thing pisses me off so much
I mean I pretty much exclusively listen to classic rock, but you don't see me going around saying "All new music is shit!" and all that. Come on, man. There was heaps of music that sucked in the 60s and 70s. Pre-Rubber Soul Beatles sounded like fucking One Direction.
You know what the top billboard song of 1969 was? Sugar Sugar by the Archies. This is the same year that The Stooges came out. Were they playing that on the radio? Of course not.
Its such a broad sweeping generalisation that is hilariously stupid to me. The stuff you hear on the radio is not the end all of music. I myself can go on Soundcloud right now for example and find artists whose music sounds like the 80s electro. That is new music, and I'm pretty sure if you can find new examples of that I think finding music for sub-genres of rock music that has receded from the public eye shouldn't be too difficult.
I really hate Dubstep and a lot of things that most kids my age (14) like.
Skinny jeans
fuck you skinny jeans is great
[editline]30th July 2015[/editline]
Fuck I wear women's high waist skinny jeans, wearing them as intended, and there is room for man bits. I never get why people complain about the crotch area of slim to skinny jeans.
I have 2 pairs of low waist womens skinny jeans and ofc male jeans. Same material as mens skinny jeans but they sit way better.
Unless you are fat or have stick legs skinny jeans look great on people combined with a nice shirt or t-shirt.
Cargo shorts/pants or baggy pants of any kind looks extremely sloppy and shit. With skinny jeans they are the perfect length and sit just like they should.
If they strangle your penis you should consider going up a size? I'm wearing some right now and i have absolutely no problem in the junk area (incoming penis size zinger) at all and the only time i've had that problem is when i accidently bought a size too small.
I really hate Dubstep and a lot of things that most kids my age (14) like.
I hate kids who think they aren't kids. (that's you)
Also listen to better wub artists. I bet you took 2 seconds out of a skrillex song and decided the whole genre is shite.

[editline]30th July 2015[/editline]
hey, I'm 14 too and I don't give a shit about what other people listen to
Amibos and pop art figures, housemate has literally littered the sitting room with those stupid pieces of plastic crap. I can't put anything on the mantelpiece or Tv stand, and the pop art ones are still boxed.
I hate this shit.
I really hate Dubstep and a lot of things that most kids my age (14) like.
Would've been better if it just ended at dubstep rather than the wrong generation shit.

The fuck is wrong with the name Aiden? My middle name is Aiden after my grandfather, how is it a new hip name?
I'll admit I've never heard anyone named the other names.
Whenever anybody involves ages, people go batshit crazy because whoever says it sounds like they think they're far superior than them.
(This is a local thing but saying it nonetheless)
The whole "Just keep your chin up, Rockford will get back on its feet we promise!"
It's been going downhill since the 80s. There's still the flight going on from when the industry collapsed. Hell, half the people who are at the community college I take classes at are "Getting a degree so they can get out of Rockford as soon as they can"
Rockford is a failed city. A sad fucking story. I'll always love Rockford since it's my home and has been for nearly 18 years.
But it's not going to just magically get better. Ever.
Legend of Zelda fanbase. It's not really a trend but I honestly fucking hate Zelda fans usually. They're one of the most rabid and annoying fanbases for a game series that isn't even that fucking good. (except both the NES games, those are great.)
Every Zelda fan I know always posts stupid zelda shit on facebook screaming shit like, "OMG I LURVE ZELDUH SOOO MUCH OMG HAHA!" Like, I get it, you played a video game, what's your point?
I GM'd a DnD game once for a games shop and no joke two players named their character "Link". One was a gnome paladin and the other was a half-elf wizard.
I kicked them out of the game after two sessions because they were on their phones all the time and not paying attention, but I'd be a liar if it wasn't slightly a biased decision on my part because of their character names and how both of their character descriptions were pretty much literally "link from Legend of Zelda except he's a wizard".

I'm a spiritual lyrical miracle individual, born in the wrong generation.

Lemme guess, you've heard Bangarang and that's it?
Lemme guess, you've heard Bangarang and that's it?
Or that one Skrillex song that was super popular.
Or that one Skrillex song that was super popular.
That was Bangarang, although I do actually like Skrillex.
Or that one Skrillex song that was super popular.
Isn't that Bangarang?
I got a lot of hate for some reason. And I meant that I do not like the modern music etc. Instead I prefer music form 40s-90s. I did not mean I hate people my age, I just do not like some of the trends they prefer.
1. I have heard quite a bit of dubstep songs, I was forced to hear few of them and I did not like it. Not for my taste. In fact I feel very uncomfortable when listening to dubstep, pop or that kind of music.
2. I can say that almost all of the people of my age class (depends where you live of course) do listen modern music, dress like gang members, they smoke, they drink, they act really disrespectfully towards police, border patrol, Asians, people with dark skin, Russians, Swedish people and random people walking on the street. And I really do not like that. And they treat that as good thing to do and only way it should be.
After all, it is just a opinion and the thread was made for it.
