Red Arrows all day erryday. Me being an Englishman and living near Duxford we get cool low flybys all the time, but mainly WWII planes.
I've had the pleasure of meeting the Blue Angels. They don't talk much before a show :v:
I've had the pleasure of meeting the Blue Angels. They don't talk much before a show :v:
They don't use their mouths to talk, they communicate through brainwaves because the stunts they do are too fast for the speed of sound
I want to goto an airshow so bad, the closest I ever get is an F-18 flyover or a C-130 flyover, even then, there really high up. Closest I have ever seen an f-18 was when they were doing a flyover for the Grey cup and I happend to be right in there path, if they had there landing gears down they could have touched rooftops. Twas' awesome.
Aviation is my passion, so I've been to many airshows. Unfortunately money is very tight for me so I can't really go to any anymore. I've wanted to be a pilot ever since I went to my first show. Never seen the Blue Angels, but I did see the Thunderbirds at RIAT '07. I've seen the Red Arrows countless times, but IMO no team comes close to Il Frecce Tricolori (Italians). Oh, and I saw this happen:
blue angels are pretty badass
Going to the Royal International Air Tattoo soon!

The airshow I go to has an A-10 demo every year with pyrotechnics and shit. It's fucking awesome. They also have the Snowbirds and an F-18 from the Canadian Air Force every year. It's pretty small though, never really anything super cool. A couple years ago there was a B-52 flyby though.
I live in Rhode Island and I've never heard of this in my life.
I went to this last year, I got the shit burnt out of me but it was worth it. Only the cool kids get to sit in the military tent next to the pilots :smug:

I'm surprised to know there's actually other people in this thread that know or Rhode Island's existence.
blue angels are pretty badass
I live in Annapolis so every year (except this year) the blue angles fly around when the midshipmen are graduating.
