Well the overexposure still makes it a bit cold, you'll have to retake the shot because you need the detail in the blown out area's. The expression is also kinda boring, maybe have a chat with your subject and make her laugh? It seems a bit stiff to me, not spontaneous enough. Also maybe zoom in more and stand further, so you create more DOF and soften the perspective. Well that's just what I would do I think :P
So as some of you already know, the only camera I own is my 1.3 megapixel camera on my phone. I am cheap. (I'm getting a "decent" camera for christmas, so I just have to wait a little less than a month to start taking pictures at some decent pace)
Anyways, enjoy some grain-ulated pictures. I tried to fix them up in post processing, but there's only so much that I can do.

Mostly uninteresting snapshots. The only reason why i picked them to "try to fix up" is because they were so horribly grainy to start with.
The Originals:

http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/7707/1128092044.jpg
Try using that grain to your advantage rather than trying to remove it. Take photos that lend themselves to the "grainy" look.

that reflection one is great, I've always enjoyed that kind of flipped reality thinking. I remember a picture of a bike sitting in a puddle, and it was taken at such an angle, and the water was so still, that I couldn't tell which direction was the real way.
Today mornig in school, I was pretty bored, so I decided to draw a dwarf slicing a beast or something. Well, I ended up with having drawn an extremely ugly human "knight".

Hypnocat?
I'll explain short. In Dwarf Fortress you can have cats. The cats doesn't get adopted like other animals, they adopt dwarves.
Asuka from Tekken 6 done in paint while I was bored. (Paint.Net if you couldn't work out that a picture like this is impossible in Paint)

Yeah, keep telling yourself that.
Unless you mean Paint.net or something.

This picture does not have the quality a picture should have (I did not have anyting else than a compact camera at the moment), but again, i did not care about the resulting quality of this image, having a picture at all was enough for me.

Found in a millitary base in Tromsø, Norway.
And holy shit it was desperate, when we first saw it, it was on the opposite side of a submarine "road" (because i don't know the English word for it) that was filled with water, the cat was about to jump down into it to get over to us.
But, luckily we managed to find a way around before it jumped. And we brought it to the nearest place we could get some food (it was starving, you could see it in its eyes).
Now, he's named Alex, and he lives here in our house. Only problem is, he does not feel fear for some reason.
In example: A car comes driving towards him, and he's like "The fuck do you want" without moving. And he'll just continue staring at the car until the driver gets out and lifts him outta the road.
He's not afraid of water, even the vacuum cleaner doesn't bother him.
It'll get him killed some day.
The word you're looking for is probably waterway or something.
Anyways, that's a sad story about the cat :(
But hey, it fears nothing. That's kinda cool unless it gets killed.
We live in a very small town, and theres hardly any cars driving past our house at all.
So, i don't think he'll get run over. But there's always a chance.
Awww those whiskers make him look old and wisened.
Gah, I could have gotten some good pictures of some event that happened in my town for the newspaper I'm working for. But I was at school, so I couldn't do anything at all.
