Yay or nay? [img_thumb]http://www.roflsaurus.com/users/Hammertime/20091204-IMG_1287.jpg[/img_thumb] Not much happening in the photo itself, I know, it was prettier IRL :P Maybe if I had a tripod I could take it in HDR, because now there's not much balance I think... Shot out of the window of the conservatory, I couldn't zoom any closer and as you might see, getting up the hill would be possible but I didn't have time. I'll go back some other time... (but they are right when they say the best time to take pictures is indeed sunrise/set)

How then? I think the colours are correct like I saw them, there's just too much black...
I think the colours are correct like I saw them, there's just too much black...
You can actually remove that. So don't think you know it all you just started taking pictures from the look of it. Oh and by the way maybe next time you could manually expose it with your camera instead of Aperture Priority mode.
Lord m's pushing me into studying figures, hopefully at least one hour a day. Here's what I've got so far.
The legs are too short on all three of the last figures.

I took like ten shots of this with different exposures and when the foreground was visible, it wasn't very pretty (trash, ugly colours, etc). I think the composition just has to be different, like I said there's just too much black, it's too dark, that's what I think. How would I remove that btw? Your post wasn't very clear...
The legs are too short on all three of the last figures.
Yeah I can see that now, they do look rather short.
i think i made the frames too fast :saddowns:
I think the problem is with how you took the two photos rather than than the frame rate. You don't want to turn the camera at all. Keep it as parallel as possible to your subject, and use your viewfinder. Take one picture looking through the viewfinder with you left eye, then take the second picture looking through with your right eye. Try to move the camera as little as possible, and as if it were on a rail, and just slide it left to right two inches. Basically what you are trying to do is look at two pictures, one from each eye, at the same time. Test it out, and I hope this helps.

Enjoying the new light with my friend at 2 am  also, ended up doing the entire deadly sins set today, hahaha. I was surprised I got so many friends to come up for the pictures, one drove nearly an hour to get here. flickr set: the Eight Evil Thoughts [origin of seven sins] http://www.flickr.com/photos/daijitsu/sets/72157622935320980/ [editline]1:11[/editline] think I should toss the set to a thread? I'm feelin' risky today.
I don't know why but I really like this photo. Any thoughts?
Reminds me of this

But I'm really unsure if it would help to center the composition because a lot of the goodness comes from the skewed inwards line it makes.
This was actually a part of a series, but I just edited this pic not 10 minutes ago, and it never was in the set, so I guess it goes here: Photo on Flickr
New desktop picture.

Something i would have fixed if I noticed earlier. I was looking for it, and only found my raw photos, The one I edited was more rail symmetrical.
