Why not 50mm/1.4 WHY DOES NOBODY BELIEVE ME
I do, but it's more expensive, and it would take me much longer to save up that money
I do, but it's more expensive, and it would take me much longer to save up that money
The 50mm is nice. I need a Canon 28mm/f1.8 right about now for waist up portraits.
Why not 50mm/1.4 WHY DOES NOBODY BELIEVE ME
coz your ghey
coz your ghey
duh
coz your ghey
No offense but that post feels the same as a cop running a red light for the hell of it. A normal user would get some repercussions from a post like that. Back on topic, I'm planning on getting the 50 f1.8d since even though the 1.4 is faster, it also has greater lens distortion which is almost non-existent in the 1.8. Low distortion is a requirement for me since I'll be using it mainly for texture photography. Also, $125 is a great price.

I want to get a new camera, should I get the COOLPIX P90? I don't want to spend over $500. I don't think that this should be a thread soooo.... I know what this thread is for but meh
My camera broke today, and I had loads of good shots that I took today. If it still doesn't turn on tomorrow then I might as well save up for a 7D. This fucking sucks.

Another update, getting down to the minor details now. I'll finish it up tonight (adding things like snow drifts, equipment, clouds), post the finished, print it and take it to class.
I finally finished all of my drawings for my art final tomorrow, had to make a still life and do a drawing in charcoal, ink, pencil and abstract in any media. I decided instead of finding an old shoe, phone or other random house item that I should go out and find the things on the street. Well I ended up getting those heavy bits off the railroad tracks, figured it ended up pretty cool. I call them The Locomotive Series, lol. My favorite is the ink abstract. Also, each was drawn from a slightly different angle.
Wtf happened ? and Canon 1 year warranty.
On off switch broke on me somehow, I'm starting to think it was the rain that affected it since I had it in my backpack. If it is, I probably won't be able to get a warranty.
I don't know about Canon but with Nikon you can still send your camera in for repair and they can fix about anything, it'll cost you obviously, but much less than a replacement camera.
I heard Canon costs more than paying for the camera itself if there's water damage though, and I much rather just get a new camera than pay more to repair it.
Wow nice work! All tablet? I've been using my tablet recently. Much trickier than I'd imagined.
I heard Canon costs more than paying for the camera itself if there's water damage though, and I much rather just get a new camera than pay more to repair it.
I don't know. I use my camera when its raining sometimes... Although I shouldn't. on topic. Old old picture. But added 'bokeh' and made the tones more accurate. Willing to give out the large. just ask
I don't know. I use my camera when its raining sometimes... Although I shouldn't.
Well I'm sort of guessing the water went through the tiny crack under the on/off switch and broke it somehow. Now my camera's just sitting by me lifeless since I can't do anything at all. I might get a job soon though, so it'll be the perfect opportunity to start saving up to get a 7D.

That's what im doing when I get a job. Sucks that you can't sell that camera to help pay it though :|
But from what I've seen about the 7D though, the weather sealing really impresses me a lot. And I knew I just wouldn't make it with an XS anyways, since I go through some really bad weather conditions every time I travel and take photos. Looks like I might have to wait a few months before I can start using a DSLR again. Unless I check to see if I can sell some photos at some gallery soon enough, hopefully I can make some pretty good money there or something.

That looks like a freakin' miniature. ♥ Tilt shift. You amplified the red too much though. :| I would ask you for the large copy of that, but i'm still using your "autumnroad" picture as my background. Why not just include the big version in the first place if you are just going to give it away "on request" anyways?
