I took it on the day my other XS died. [editline]10:47AM[/editline] One taken minutes before I got pulled in by a huge wave.

Your XS died? How? Mine's given me Error 99 when I take the first picture after turning it on. I simply flip open the memory card flap then close it and keep shooting.
And you still have a working camera?
I got a replacement XS for Christmas, luckily the store I got it from were nice enough to give us another one even though we were 2 days past the warranty. [editline]11:28AM[/editline] But even when I didn't have my XS I still had my Canon Powershot SD1100. And most of my shots came out of that tiny camera, a good example is all my shots from it on the first page of this thread. I surprise lots of people when I say that for some apparent reason. I only got a DSLR just recently, and it isn't too much different from my point and shoot. But I love how much control I have over my photos now. I just make use of what I currently have, and I still only have the kit lens for my XS. I'm planning on getting a 50 mm soon enough, but for now the kit lens is actually pretty good. My 40D started giving me an error message (90-something) and it was because the shutter was broken. I'll send it in to get fixed one of these days, but I just used that opportunity to upgrade it.

Woah, one of my friends contacted me recently. I found out she's a model for a really well known model agency, awesome. Also here's a picture of her from one of her shoots, I have no idea how I never figured out she was a model up until now. When I get my lighting gear after saving up enough money, I'm planning on doing photo shoots starting with her first. Can't wait, also included a link of her agency. I don't see how regular point and shoots have better lenses at all.
Good concept, would be good to see the final product. Is it all going to be in black and white or will you use selective colour? Also, content:
I'm not sure. I've thought about doing the music in multiple colors, but I'm not sure. Also, liking the photo, cute girl. Though she doesn't look to happy, but I think it fits the picture none the less.
Point and shoots usually have better lenses then Kit ones that come with SLR's IMO
you cannot be serious
Point and shoots usually have better lenses then Kit ones that come with SLR's IMO
Well good thing opinions don't overrule reality because you're wrong.
Well good thing opinions don't overrule reality because you're wrong.
Okay. Anyways, I need to ship my camera in. wth do I have to do exactly... It's under the 1 year warrenty Canon provides...

You'd probs get some good critique or atleast a response of what works well and what doesn't if you posted it here. You never know. Also, in response to your also, that's my sister. She's 16. [Insert angry but humorous emote here].
Update 3, Got the headphones done. Music flowing out of the skulls mouth is next:
PIC got bored with my tablet :P
I like it. If you ever get the time down the road come back and clean it up, and do some color. It'd make a good work.

Got a tablet on Christmas and drew this today. It's Avenged Sevenfold's logo
Randoms from mucking about with tablet I got at Christmas. Trying to color in Photoshop too. :ohdear: Some kind of raptor thing. Mmmmmm, what.
honest to god thought that was Kiera Knightley.
Haha, that's what I was thinking when I first met her at school last year. She always stopped by to talk to me and her friends during Brunch.

Update 4: Done with the the basics. Now, I ask you all, what should I do for the background? I want it to all flow together style wise:
Point and shoots usually have better lenses then Kit ones that come with SLR's IMO
In some cases, they're more capable, but I wouldn't say they're usually better. She looks like Keira Knightley but not Winona Ryder.
