Actually most of us film photographers just post in Creative Photography thread right now. But great shots andy, some are a tad generic, but others are great. What film and camera do you use?
O. I will head over that ways. Thank you =] thank you ! :) i took most of them in west point, new york. I have an '84 Minolta Maxum 7000
some b&w films use a c41 development process, probably best to use those if you want to shoot b&w without having issues getting it developed

To be honest I was displeased with the performance of the Ilford XP2 for its price.. Was expecting it to be at least as good as PAN 400, but it wasn't...
My XP2 came out great, I love the grain it has.
i was reading a flickr discusion about c41 b&w last night and most of them preferred the kodak bw400cn, i havnt tried one myself yet i only just used my first roll of colour and i think i fucked up loading a roll of fp4 as it unraveled a bit so it might have been exposed
120/220 sure, easy enough to fuck up. but 35mm... really? it comes in a ready to use canister
it was 120 i was loading
it was 120 i was loading
which camera?
I haven't shot much film before, but I'm really interested in the Canon EOS 3. There's one on Ebay for £156.99, and I might get that one.
I use film primarily.
Been bidding on Nikon film bodies today and hoping I can get something for under £50. Haven't shot film since I was a kid with a disposable HURRRRR Seriously though, I'd really like to try it as it forces you to not be lazy, although I don't really have that problem as I do quite a bit of thinking and tinkering before taking shots.
I found these two in my drawer. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/1Ov67.jpg[/img_thumb] And a Canon AE-5 in my parents closet.
That AE-1 you have a picture of there looks awesome. I really like cameras with that sort of look.
How much would a roll of film cost to get developed in GBP?
In my country it costs 2 Lt which is approximately 0.51£.
I have an old soviet FED-3 film camera. Haven't used it in ages, though. I don't have a pic of it, but it looks exactly like this
anyone know a reliable way to fake a uk student id? every film developer i look at offers at least 10% discount sometimes upto 30% to students
anyone know a reliable way to fake a uk student id? every film developer i look at offers at least 10% discount sometimes upto 30% to students
support your local businesses or go to school
I have a student id two years earlier than I should do since I'm taking extra AS courses at a college out of school.
I'm buying this today:
My mom just found her old mamiya 1000 dtl. It has a 55mm f2 lens but the front glass is shattered completely. It's also a bit wobbly but the camera seems to work. cool
Opinions on a Pentax Super ME as a first proper camera? I love the look and feel of film shooting and want to get into more serious photography
Opinions on a Pentax Super ME as a first proper camera? I love the look and feel of film shooting and want to get into more serious photography
Great camera. Very fun and easy to use. Get it
anyone know a reliable way to fake a uk student id? every film developer i look at offers at least 10% discount sometimes upto 30% to students
You're going to forge an ID just to save a few dollars? Dude, just get a job or something.
I have an N5005 but over the past few years I've abused an neglected it so bad that sometimes it just won't work. I feel so bad about how dumb I was with my camera.
I'm buying this today: [img_thumb]http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/3597/nikonfm2xk0.jpg[/img_thumb]
I have the FE, it's a great camera. Just sent in my first ~professional~ film roll for development, 10 business days, I could learn to operate a darkroom along with C41 in that time :argh: oh shit, just realized the timer crank (which doubles as an exposure setting lock if you hold it down) is broken off/missing on the one you pictured. :[
anyone know a reliable way to fake a uk student id? every film developer i look at offers at least 10% discount sometimes upto 30% to students
I got 25% off and a free second set for 'being a student' when I developed my last roll, guy just assumed it because I look young. I'm 23.

The person had it repaired, professionally. The idiot probably took it to the beach and had sand get into the body (the shutter was broken). Everything is currently in working order. $150 for that and a bunch of useless extras (a camera bag, 2 shitty macro lenses, 4 macro filters, a polarizing filter, a softening filter, and one of those magnifying slide viewers). After buying it I immediately took it to the local photography store to buy a body cap. I also scored a free camera strap (one that can hold 35mm film canisters on the strap) :).
