Well I am off to get a Zenit E from stranger I meet on freecyle.
I just picked up a canon Elan II and the kit 28-80mm. It's amazing how similar it is to my 60D!

the composition of this photo is literally flawless.
the composition of this photo is literally flawless.
Well, the photographer could have moved slightly to the right to make the head flawlessly centred....
Well, the photographer could have moved slightly to the right to make the head flawlessly centred....
to the left you mean, it looks slightly too left to me
Doesn't stop it being an excellent photo.
yeah I wouldn't call it flawless
the person's legs looks sort of weird next to the poles, and his head is a little close to the building in the background
but none of the critiques I can think of are actually a big deal, they are just nitpicky
Got my Zenit-E, wasn't expecting a 1978 model with the Moshva-80 logo.
It needed a slight clean saying its been in the attic of someones house for 20-30 years
(Even with the logo its only worth a penny more)
Also could I have some help Extension Tubes How they are used and easier ways to use them, They just seem odd to me.
Going to develop 3 rolls of film tomorrow. Last time I ruined my film by exposing it to the dark room's safelight, thinking the safelight was safe for negatives. Only afterwards I realized it was only safe for photo paper.
Anyway, is there anything I should double, even triple check, so I don't fuck up my 3 rolls? Any insight or tip will be really appreciated.
I own a Pentax K1000- love it to bits :) Found this scan lying around, so, here.

Hrrmm, possibly you
Kind words guys, thank you. Im going to be revisiting the location quite often. And I'm looking to move near there this year which is good.
Tried to get this one whilst walking, i was using a 50mm 1.4 so was quite tricky. Even though the focus was off I still think the light was neat. Gonna try something similar again if i get the chance.

Went to an estate sale today and picked up a Minolta Maxxum 5000 with a 35-70mm f4 lens, a 70-210mm f4 lens, a camera bag, a roll of B&W film, and all the original paperwork for $30.

WELL, recieved the camera in the mail. Everything seem to work fine, even the metering system since he included a battery. HOWEVER, the shutter will not work properly. Whenever I cock the film advance, and press on the shutter, the curtain will not open, and it will not make a sound even when I press the shutter. I adjusted the rewind release ring so that it isn't interrupting the shutter, and it's still not working. Might make a video in a little bit so you can get a better idea as to what I am talking about.

On the shutter release button theres red dots if you line them up, that might be been the problem
open the back when cocking the shutter, you should see the shutter curtains moving across and so should the spool.
