I don't know man let me just check the EXIF data...
Did you check it yet
Did you check it yet
I peeled apart the negatives and found that it was shot at f/4.
I peeled apart the negatives and found that it was shot at f/4.
THAT WOULD HAVE DESTROYED THE NEGATIVES YOU IDIOT
But you'll be left with the positives which are much more stable then the negatives. Don't forget the neutrals too. In another news I just bought a Zenit-E for 20 bucks.
so i kind of promised myself that i'd get into film photography someday problem is, i have no idea what the hell i'm doing SO FACEPUNCH HOW SHOULD I GET MYSELF INTO FILM PHOTOGRAPHY (i'm on a budget if it helps [yes i know film cameras are cheap])
You should look into an Olympus OM camera
I would like to start using film. I've got three film cameras, two Brownies and a Polaroid. I've also got an old Minolta somewhere around here, but I'm not sure what film it takes. Right now, I'm just looking for either a 620 spool and some 120 rolls for the Brownies, or just a few rolls of 620 film (Which I cannot find). Anyone know where I can find those?
B&H I believe will get you some 620 film, though you don't have much of a selection.
B&H I believe will get you some 620 film, though you don't have much of a selection.
Thank you, friend. They've got quite a selection, as far as things like this go. And I'm more concerned about the spools, really, because those are my ticket to any number of 120 or 620 films.
So Film photography is now a trending thing in my country which is a good thing. The bad thing is, they call it LOMOGRAPHY. Oh shit, hipsters.
So Film photography is now a trending thing in my country which is a good thing. The bad thing is, they call it LOMOGRAPHY. Oh shit, hipsters.
Maybe. Or they could be deriving it from Lomographische, the company that makes the LOMO cameras.
So Film photography is now a trending thing in my country which is a good thing. The bad thing is, they call it LOMOGRAPHY. I hate lomography because of this http://uk.shop.lomography.com/zorki-4-referbished bought one from a camera shop for 153 quid less
I hate lomography because of this http://uk.shop.lomography.com/zorki-4-referbished bought one from a camera shop for 153 quid less
and yeah, lol, it's ridiculous what they charge for their cameras. they're a bit smart with their marketing though. think about it: "we're going to throw you a bunch of cheap, shitty, plastic cameras, and charge a crap load for what they're actually worth. NOW, we're going to show you this SLR, it's made out of METAL, you can actually see what you're focusing on, and there's interchangeable lenses! we figure you don't know shit about cameras because you're still buying the plastic ones at the price they're at, so we're going to charge a fuck load for this camera. IT'LL MAKE YOU A PRO LOMOGRAPHER. GO OUT AND BE THE BEST LOMOSEXUAL YOU CAN BE."
Technically speaking what is lomography?
It's just a name/trademark.
The problem is, they seriously call everything film related as Lomo. I mean, If I were to use my Canon Ae-1 everyone would go, "Cool Lomo camera".

That said, I have no experience with any other film cameras.
It's just a name/trademark.
DONT INSULT MY WAY OF LIFE
Well I'm back again with urbex(ish) photos This time I ended up in a culvert which is a tunnel that is used to move water (river) underneath an obstacle (in this case a city) its split into several parts, theres the part where the water goes through underneath with sewage pipes on either side and a part that can be walked on, which was used as an air raid shelter in WW2, it was pitch black very dusty and rather smelly in places. I want a Pentax film camera specifically so I can share the lenses I have with my DSLR and the film.
I would go for something older and more sturdier than this eighties plasticky Pentax. Something like a ME Super is way more reliable than these things and still has the K mount. So, unless you are specificially looking for Pentax-A lenses and also want Program mode on your analog slr(which would require you to buy the newer cameras like this P3) I would go for a ME Super.
BUY MY 67

I got my 110 film developed and scanned(I own a Canon 110ED). Here's some results, film used is Fuji Superia 200 expired in 2006. i think that may be because the lens you are using doesn't have too many blades.
i think that may be because the lens you are using doesn't have too many blades.
That's right. I think it only has 4 blades or so.
