Thoughts?
I wish the bottom of the cow's head wasn't cut off by the bar in the first, but it doesn't ruin it totally.
So I developed my first roll of B&W yesterday, and there's black spots in the middle of the roll down the length of it, getting progressively worse towards the beginning of the roll (middle of my dev reel). What did I do wrong? Aside from the spots everything seems to have come out good, as good as they could for being ruined...
ah fuck, finally got my first roll back that i used in the om-10 i got recently, turns out this camera has a very similar focusing problem to another i used before - the focus you see in the viewfinder is completely off from what you actually get on the film
really annoying as well, because scanning the shots, i see quite a few i actually like, except they're completely out of focus
some of the shorts still came out reasonably well, so here they are at least

Pentax 67 first roll in chronological order. All the photos after the one of my cat were taken on the same day roughly from 2pm to dusk.

Those are really nice. Would love to have a 67 as well tbh :v:
Found another Patterson System 4 developing tank. Now I have enough parts to develop two rolls of film at once.
I just scored a Pentax K1000 and 28mm f2.8, it's in perfect condition, original box, slip, time and place where it was bought :D I'm so amped to buy some film and shoot with it, I always wanted a film SLR.

tape it the fuck up with electrical tape

Anybody?? Tried another roll, same issue. I'm going to try and get a scan of it up here. It's just a real bummer to keep doing this with no idea why it's happening.

I think they couldn't be bothered to put department on the box.
I have a 35mm Pentax and Nikon film cameras. I havent used them much yet, but im gonna be taking classes soon to hopefully learn. I tend to be more of a digital camera user tho. It's always fun to take disposables and "ruin" them by scratching the lens, burning, drowning, etc to experiment with differant effects.
Went out and bought my first film camera today:

All this for £39.99 :D
Carena CX-300
Exakta 70-210mm f/4.5-32
Exakta 70-300mm f/4.5-32
Carena 50mm f/1.9-16
A tripod mount trigger w/ cable
External flash w/ 4 filters
and 3 rolls of Kodak ColorPluss 200 (poundworld film hollaaa)
Any tips/tricks i need to learn?!
Nothing then?
Pro tip:
Don't open the back before you rewinded the film!
It's a camera so maybe take pictures with it.
I am doing, halfway through a roll now !! i was just wondering if anyone could help me with judging correct exposure?
Use the light meter
Just a little something off the last roll which was mostly snapshots.

this is fucking awesome.
Also the first few frames of the negatives were completely bluey/greeny, anyone know what the shit happened? (They were expired by about 4 years but every other neg was fine.
I have quite a few photos to post from last weekend. I had a nice trip to Edinburgh and quite a few other places
But first I bought an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic w/ Super Takumar 55mm f/1.8 lens for £25 and I can't find out what battery it uses I got as far as finding its a battery no longer produced. The nearest battery I can find is a 387, which is a different battery with a spacer that costs £5.95

I guess it might have been stored awhile in direct sunlight and some of it came through the slit?
Or perhaps when loading it you may have accidently exposed the frames.
Yeah that probably happened, but blue? Never seen that before, only orange.
I'm not sure what went wrong then .
Also as I couldn't find the battery for my Spotmatic, its been modified in a reversible way to use AA batteries.
That idea has been decommissioned, it was producing a large amount of heat.

2 rolls of Ektar and 2 rolls of Superia. On my shelf, waiting to be processed.
Man it sucks not having your own processing lab and not having the time to send it to a pro lab.
So I got my first ever roll of film developed today. Most of the shots weren't that great and I have an issue with the camera not always advancing the film entirely, so I will try to sort that out once I finish the roll that's currently in there.
I am glad however that I managed to guess the correct exposure in most of the shots (relying on Sunny 16 for the day shots, but winging it on the night ones (of which only one came out well exposed)).
This one came out sort of the best, but was a relatively uninteresting shot.

I haven't figured out if it's my finger or the case here, but this showed up on a few of the earlier shots on the roll.

You can see here where part of the next exposure is overlapping because it didn't entirely advance.

This was my first night shot and you can see I underexposed. I think I need to practice a bit getting the focus right in low light conditions too, because it was a clear sky and the moon's still a blob.

This one came out sorta ok, but I think I might've bumped the camera a little as I pressed the shutter button. I'm pretty happy with the exposure though considering I was working without a light meter.

And this one probably could've been a bit brighter. The sky was bright enough to make out the shapes of the buildings, so either I misjudged the dynamic range of film or I just messed it up pretty badly.

Overall, I'm not impressed with my shots, but it's given me something to really work from and has helped me gauge what settings to use in the future.

Most of the other shots on the roll either had a huge dark patch on the left side (the first few I mentioned) or had another exposure overlapping. So I think I can sort out those 2 issues quite easily and hopefully I'll get some better shots in the near future.
What kind of camera/lens do you have?
