By the way, Castro has stepped down from power, his brother is the new EL PRESIDENTE and he is believed to have some kind of terminal cancer.
The firm belief that Castro is the savior of Cuba has been printed for generations in their mindset. Even in death Castro could be responsible for a war. Although, I do agree that in terms of regional influence, Castro (Both him and his brother) have lost a lot compared to what Chavez has. It's safe to say that Chavez has replaced Castro.
Our country is not in the toilet We are far from what the Germans had. They were starving, disease ridden and homeless. This thread is pointless. Look outside. Look outside. Do you see this in every street corner? Just another thread looking for views. Just like a shitty youtube emo song cover.
I like how you assumed everyone here is from the same country.
Not at all. Iraq today isn't even as developed as Germany was post-WWI. Not to mention the fact that they are being occupied by foreign troops at the moment.
Well for a long time Weimar Germany was occupied for a while by the French in the Ruhr region. <Shrugs>
Well for a long time Weimar Germany was occupied for a while by the French in the Ruhr region. <Shrugs>
Yeah, but that was a developed area. Iraq has been destroyed by war for years.
hitler had brilliant leadership skills he changed the moral values of an entire society through his eloquent speeches His anger and presence were the key to his impact
actually it was fairly fifty fifty in how the people of germany and even nazi soldiers themselves thought about those targeted by the holocaust.
Can it happen again? Yeah. WILL it happen again? Not in the near future.
Can it happen again? Yeah. WILL it happen again? Other than what's happening in Africa right now? Most likely not.
Fixed.
Hur durr I don't know that mass genocide is actually happening in today's world.
hurr durrrrrrrr lol i was joking btw dont get but hurt
It's possible, but remote. You'd need to shatter the barrier of sacred individuality first in the more libertarian countries.
Every day I believe more & more that school is good for you...
I didn't know Hitler could happen. He's a person, not an event. :Dawkins102: [editline]05:30PM[/editline]
As I recall, Bush and Obama were both Hitlers.
Yeah, because they condone the killing of 6 million people based on religion, right? :downs:
Hur durr I don't know that mass genocide is actually happening in today's world.
Well, it's not starting a world war and thirst for power over it so I'd only count that as half a Hitler, at best.

Why isn't George W. Bush on that list? Anyway, I think the people have learned enough that letting a psychotic, aryan fanatic but political expert won't lead them to success. Sure, Germany was the most powerful nation in the world in 1941, but by 1945 the "Empire" they possessed was non-existent.
Well, it's not starting a world war and thirst for power over it so I'd only count that as half a Hitler, at best.
Touche.
There are plenty of other 'Hitlers', the only difference between them and Adolf Hitler is that Germany wasn't a third world country.
I got my eye on you Castro
Hugo Chavez, Venezuela.
Por que no te callas?
actually it was fairly fifty fifty in how the people of germany and even nazi soldiers themselves thought about those targeted by the holocaust.
well he got 36% of the vote for pm I think so yeah around that. The whole jew hating thing wasn't exactly the entire country, but the nationalist trend was (and that's what I was primarily talking about)
Zeitgeist, you can watch it legally and for free here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-594683847743189197&ei=KGQ5S6G1G9ii-AaK6bzkDg&q=Zeitgeist# Do it.
Barack Obama eh? I never pictured Democrats as being the Fourth Reich. Get ready boys the White House is going to be the 'Black House'.
Nick griffin is plausible but he doesnt hate religion only anything thats not british or white. He is a true dickhead and his views are semi hitler(dunno what hitler's veiws where called naziism?)
Barack Obama eh? I never pictured Democrats as being the Fourth Reich. Get ready boys the White House is going to be the 'Black House'.
I actually had a joke idea that Obama would indeed rename it the Black House. [editline]09:35PM[/editline]
He is a true dickhead and his views are semi hitler(dunno what hitler's veiws where called naziism?)
"Nazi", or "National Socialist", wasn't really a belief to start with, but a political party Hitler founded and led. However, Hitler modified the idea of Fascism in several ways, especially mixing in Aryanism and Supremacy-of-Nationality, forming Naziism.
Hitler was just a country leader who lost the war. What does everybody refer to him as a fuckin super villain....?
The question isn't if, it's when.
I think with the way our countries pussy foot around with dangerous leaders it might be possible. They will either turn a blind eye or do useless sanctions.
Hitler was just a country leader who lost the war. What does everybody refer to him as a fuckin super villain....?
This ,I think of Hitler as one of those people I want to meet, but when ever i say anything about that people give me dirty looks and bring up the bad thing "he" did. And to add to the discussion, yes there could and will be another Hitler, because he was a man that took power when a country was at a low point, Do I think that there will be another person that will be as destructive to the world, most likely, but I doubt they will be the same person because most 3rd world countries don't have the economy to do such acts, and the rest of the world is powerful enough to control each other, and i highly doubt they would destroy a country like they did to Germany after ww1.
