Tomorrow never comes so appreciate everything you can today :D
The human race in general lives too much in the past and future, to where we dont accomplish as much right this second. Everything has to fall into place eventually and if you dont look for the good things in this moment, you wont appreciate whatever youre waiting for as much when it comes.
That's how i try and keep my mentality, but it's hard as fuck sometimes.
like for example, i can't wait til i get my check and can pay my fine, and i keep stressing over it, even though i cant do shit about it right this second
this is quite an interesting talk that touches on mans ability to look to the possibilities and hypothetical which is very relevent to the future, I just thought it was cool, it doesn't have anything to do with what you just said other than it explains why we are different today than we were years ago
That's a great way to think. Gotta try living my life like that.
It's fucking insane how simple life is, and how hard it is to make yourself realize it.
What i hate the most is that I'm always creative and motivated when im high, and i tell myself i can be without it, but then when i dont have it i go right back to tryin to get it instead of focusing on whatever needs to be done.

dude that's the same conundrum I'm in, and it's frustrating as all hell. I just need a job though, and I think things should fall in place, dunno about you though man, if you aren't working, I'd say start with that.

I feel you, i havent had a job in a while ( atleast not a good one ) and ive tried scheming ways to make good money with out a job (like selling bud) but i have no self discipline with weed so i kind of just gave up on that idea haha. I just got one. :D And yea, atleast with music, I come up with the craziest shit when I write high. When Im sober its like nothing flows the way it should. Once i get to the point of gettin good paychecks, Im probably just going to spend most of money and bud, mxe, and running a website :D

I just got to thinking, if native americans and africans had as good of resources as Europeans back in the day, would they have ended up conquering and killing, and taking over countries in the name of their "god" as much as Europeans did? hmm
mate, i found my ex's facebook group page

At least Cosplay usually still are human, at least most examples I've seen. The Resident Evil ones are kinda cool, like seeing those characters if they were real.

Yes, I don't see why not. It's not like Europeans invented the concept of war in the name of religion, it's just a tendency of human nature.
blazed, realising conversations are literally just a series of statements and questions boi.

I'd say it's whoever was the most advanced in warfare at the time, if africans or native americans had somehow came up with better weapons and strategy, they'd undoubtedly be the major controlling force over the world, everything just happened to have played out the way it did. Your religion statement is kinda strange though because islam is still the most practiced religion as far as all people go, and that religion seems to be slightly easier to use as an excuse for domination than christianity, but really religion is a touchy subject for me (or anyone really) to talk about, considering I have a strong bias against religion based on what I've gathered, and I'm not too educated on the subject either and I don't like talking about shit I don't know much of.

We've seen domination happening by use of power literally everywhere, but it's not necessarily based on religious concepts. Military, cultural and territorial domination, in various situations, happened because it could. Hence Roman and Aztec expansion patterns.

and letters and words are just purely symbols that we use to try and make sense of things

Agreed, even though the expansion has oftentimes been justified through religion, the true reasons have in almost every case been for economic or imperialistic gain.

hahah man I can't ever take someone who's talking about religion seriously, because eventually they start talking about people returning from the dead, heaven and hell as if they're real places you can visit, and just other silly nonsensical jibberish about how what they believe makes them better than me and the things I do that oppose those beliefs. Really though the question you gotta ask is, why would a god only mettle in human affairs when we are at our lowest, intellectually? Sure you could say it's as if humanity is a child that once reaches adulthood never needs it's parent, or god. To me it seems as though humanity used story telling as a way to teach others and young ones growing how to survive, promote life, and how one should socialize based on social constructs of then. to use the book as a source of all knowledge today, is nothing less than near sighted and ignorant.

It's not exactly foregin that a country encounters a lesser developed, scientifically and technologically, and then see themselves as the "masterrace" the europeans did.
The only reason organized religion is so prominent is because ignorance is bliss.

its all about the context of whats in it, thats what should matter. All these religions are just people from the past who wrote shit tryin to make sense of this fucked world. The lessons taught are what should matter, but so many people get wrapped up in whos idea of a "god" is right instead of just realizing the values are what matters. organized religion is a way to control people, simple as that. you dont need to go to a church to make your god (or life force) happy, just be a good person.
Idk but today I sneezed and someone said to me, really enthusiastically, "god bless you" so I replied "hail satan" and smiled at them.

Usually I reply with something along the lines of "God doesn't need to bless herself."
I reply thank you because its polite. I dont think i have ever run into someone saying god bless you with the intention of pushing anything on me, its just a manners thing.

People saying God bless you are fine, its the people that tell you how you need to find god in your life that fucking annoy me. My grandpa was a nice guy but he always went on about that and it drove me insane
I'm just a terrible person who loves fucking with religious people.
It's so fun because it's so easy.

Yea, but if someone's not being rude, you don't have to be snarky and respond with something like that when someone says bless you, hell I do it myself, not with the intent of religion behind it, but just as second nature almost. I think if you take "god bless you" as an excuse to show someone how you're against religion, you're just as bad.

Yeah, usually I'm not.
In fact I usually just make the snarky comments to my religious friends who can take the joke.
If it's a stranger who doesn't seem to be acting out of spite towards me in any way, a simple "Thank you" will suffice.
heh, imagine you say bless you just tryin to be nice and then you get that kind of reply. Shit dude I'm just being polite.
