Well FP im 17 and I want to be able to buy things over the internet, not cause my parents wont let me but usually theyre too busy to do the whole transaction. I have a bank card but it cant be used to buy stuff over the internet, only to access funds from my savings account. Is there anything I can do so that I can buy things off the internet, e.g steam, ebay, other internet sites etc?
You should just go to the bank and let them upgrade the card for you. It usually comes with a yearly or monthly fee.
I assume you got a VISA Electron card right? With the card number printed on the card and not "molded".
Can't PayPal Take money out of account's?

What? That sounds like a very specific type of card, not sure why you'd assume i had that one. I have a Westpac (aussie bank) handycard, and it has a eftpos logo and a cirrus (owned by mastercard) logo on the back. The card number is raised above the surface, like you can physically feel it, so i think its not what youre talking about

Paypal is only for 18+, and its not worth risking making one cause if they find out they freeze your funds and a bunch of other shit.
Do any retailers around you carry rechargeable or prepaid debit gift cards (the former preferred)?

That's stupid, if you have money you should be able to use it anywhere
But i guess with all those porn site's.
Have your parents make a PayPal account just for you to use on whatever card of theirs. When you buy stuff, transfer money out of your bank account into theirs, or pay them cash.
Only some sites will take those kind of cards though unfortunately
Dude I'm only 12 and I have a paypal, nothing will happen.
Get some cash, buy prepaid cards.

I am 15 and I use paypal that way for years. If you just buy shit (video games, etc), no one gives a fuck.
I'm 17, I'm using paypal with my bank account.

Ah ok. Here in Sweden the first card kids get is the VISA Electron, which only allows you to check your internet account and using it with the ATM.
In any case, I talked with my bank and they fixed it for me.
I had my first debit card at 16, but that was in the US.

Well I got my first debit card when I was 14, and that was here in Finland. :smug:
-snip-
just buy prepaid debit cards
You should buy me a fleshlight.
Im not 18 and Im using paypal and virtual visas
I made a paypal at around 15 - 16, and by age 17 I had 3 credit cards on it without them questioning me.
Just use a fake age, it's not like they'll randomly freeze it.
